So this random girl was texting my boyfriend and flirting with him asking for help. I have access to his messages and I told her no and deleted them. I told him and he got mad at me and made me lose access. I deleted the messages and he said he won’t talk to me until I give him her number. I should have access because in the past he slept with two women. So this is why I have trust issues. I think it’s screwed up what he’s doing not letting me have access or talk to me just because I won’t him her number.

I'm gonna be as straightforward about my situation as I can - I know that I'll probably sound needy but I just need a few opinions.

There's this guy whom I met about two years ago and I swear that we were crazy for each other! We spent hours talking and cuddling and he even travelled with me to the other end of the city just to get me home, even though he had to catch an early train the next morning. We said goodbye and he asked me for my number so that we could see each other next week when he got home. Unfortunately, I accidentally gave him a wrong number that night (I know, stupid!) and we've never seen each other again. Fast forward: I happened to find him again online. I could only send him a short message (the characters were limited to 300), something along the lines of me explaning the whole situation, how I found him again and thanking him for bringing me home.

He's seen the message but hasn't replied yet. A guy friend of me argued that it might sound like I don't want to reinitiate contact and just wanted to thank him. I didn't send him a contact request either, because I thought that might have been too much.

I know that I'm being really paranoid and 'if he wanted to be in contact, he would've texted me back'... but should I send him a contact request, just to be sure that there's no misunderstanding?
