I'm not sure about other countries, but here in the US, many jobs drug test. It started with Reagan requiring federal employees to be tested, then companies followed. Now, many employers, especially those who offer good wages and benefits, drug test before employment is offered.

Personally, I don't do drugs and I think jobs should drug test. I've worked with a lot of potheads, and many have smoked on the job, I know I know, "#NotAllStoners", but enough that if I were an employer, I'd be pissed that my employees were rolling up on the job that I'd be paying them. Yes, it's bias.
Many people think that there should be no more drug testing, at least not for weed because it's the least harmful of all drugs. Others say it's a violation of privacy, etc etc.
Some jobs have actually stopped drug testing, like many tech jobs, because they were losing qualified candidates. So not all potheads are ineffective.

I'm not asking if they should be legally required to drug test, or if drug testing should be banned, but you can answer that as well if you like. I'm asking if they should drug test?

What's your opinion? Should jobs be allowed to drug test? Should only certain drugs be tested for?
