I'm Catholic. But not most religious person you'll meet. I got in a minor argument with a friend who is very religious. I say your born gay. It's not a choice. He says it's a sin. He says it's a choice. Do you think your born gay? Or you choose? I'll update tomorrow who won the argument and how. After I get a few answers..

Was a friend of yours raised by gay parents?
If yes, What was it like for you/your friend?
If not, What do you think about this in general?

I'm not against any person's personal choice and I guess it's not a choice to be gay although there are times I feel like it could be. But that's just my opinion.

I've personally never come across a person who's gay in my entire social circle and I was just wondering how is it like to know the fact that they're gay?
Does anyone unwillingly behave a certain way?
Is the childhood and growing up of children of such parents affected or different?

Again I'm just looking for experiences you guys have had, and how it is. I don't have anything against it and although I'd prefer more natural relationships I don't want this to be a crime which it was in my country untill it was recently changed.
