Gary Maurice Lucas, Jr - known as Joyner Lucas was born in August 17, 1988, Worcester, Massachusetts, U.S.

At first, I'm going to say that Joyner Lucas is my favorite rapper I've ever listened to.

Everyone says that Joyner Lucas is the most underrated rapper of all time. I'm with that opinion.

He has never won Grammy and he says lot about it in his song. To be honest, he is right. Rapper like him, should have at least one Grammy, but they're unfair. Giving Grammy Award as The Best Rap song to Drake because of "God's Plan" was so unfair. Joyner had song nominated, named "I'm Not Racist" which is the best rap song of decade. It's about the biggest problem of humanity - Racism. The video is the best, just because white listens to black and black listens to white. They don't interrupt each other.

Joyner Lucas has rap songs with - Eminem, Royce da 5'9, Logic, Black Thought, Mystikal, Busta Rhymes, Tech N9NE... Maybe that's enough list to say that he's so great and respected!

That says A LOT! He has 2 songs with Marshall, "Lucky You" and "What If I Was Gay". Both song deserves Grammy for me, but Grammy "jury" doesn't think like that, they hardly ever make good choices.

Joyner also raps about big problems too.

His every song is new masterpiece.

Joyner also makes remixes of other rap songs. (Some of them are mumble raps). I've never seen Joyner's remix worse than original!

His last album is about his disease - ADHD - Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. The albus is not fully realased yet, but it's already the best album of 2019. Song names "ADHD" tells a full story about his childhood (How everyone forced him to take pills because of his disease that can't be cured with pills!).

Joyner Lucas has song - "Frozen" and "I'm Sorry" - Only songs that made me cry!

Thanks for sharing this, but I'm not feelin it. He sounds a lot like Eminem and it's kind of annoying, I noticed this about a lot of white rappers. Meh, he's okay, but his beats, wordplay and ideas aren't sophisticated. Rap as a culture has lost so much soul that anyone saying anything of substance feels refreshing these days. The song about racism was good because of how true it was; it didn't need to be a smart or clever song.

I feel the same way about a lotta artists. Ik JL had the first song, but damn he is underrated af. I feel the same about Hopsin at least with some of his songs. Love the artists that are willing to get into deeper subjects despite knowing they likely won't be as popular. in my opinion, a lotta artists that would tackle deep subjects that were anywhere near reaching a pretty massive audience were bands. LP, 3DG, even FFDP all dealt with harder subjects. Rappers long ago probably did too, but some are finally getting a little recognition, just not near what they deserve. Hope these artists keep pushing out songs with harder subjects till there's no choice but to fully acknowledge it.

I appreciate hearing your perspective, but in my opinion the greatest rapper of the previous 3 years would have to be J. Cole. I got nothing against Joyner's brand; I like it. However, I dont feel like he can resonate with the majority of the RAP community.

There's reasons most of his vids has under 1000 veiws... I'm all for free speech... but free markets seem to dictate that certain themes repeated in every single video get annoying after a while. It's like I created a videos about a banana but every single one was either about how superior he is vs grapes, cherries, or blackberries, constantly indicating his dislike for them without any reason other than because he's a banana... yah. Get my drift?

@errorgoodnameunfound Dude, you have no idea how popular Moonman actually is and you can't tell by looking at page views nowadays after he's been completely scrubbed off of every mainstream site. I remember when he was all over youtube, his videos had fucking crazy view counts, that's why they started shadowbanning and shadow-censoring his vids using their famous algorithmic magic and eventually even that wasn't enough to keep his popularity down so they simply flat-ass-out deleted all his shit.

Moonman never had any problems with lack of popularity, his problem is that he's too popular and it scares all the most powerful and influential people right out of their wits.

If he was that popular, perhaps he shoul dof considered the rules of the websites he was on and at least try to comply? On one hand I do not like censorship. On the other, youtube, therefore his fame existed bc Jews created Google and Google bought youtube and made it to what it is today. So, ofc, when he starts saying some of the shit he does repeatedly, the people at that run youtube, the very people he talks shit about, get annoyed. It's called biting the hand that fed and then getting mad when that hand slaps back and doesn't feed anymore.
