Guys, feel free to add in the comments the percentages and how online dating goes for you. This questions is geared more towards guys, since girls have a different set of problems when it comes to dating.

Out of like 14 online dates in 3 weeks I have two girls that are "friends" that I hang out with, and one that thinks she is my BFF, but no actual girlfriend. And these girls are probably just playing me tbh. I am not used to getting rejected this much. It seems like if you have any standards, you are competing with tons of other guys. Even if the date goes really well you stand a high chance of being rejected because she is shopping. I have come to the conclusion it is a giant waste of time, emotions, and money. Nothing kills my confidence more than meeting an awesome girl, having a great date, then being rejected because she met some Brad Pitt doctor millionaire the next day and she just makes up some random bs excuse. And its not like I don't have a good job, looks etc. Meeting people IRL seems to be a much better productive use of time. I regret even trying online dating for 3 weeks.

Well today my mom decided to nag me about my nerdy habits. I have a nephew that's very competitive and he doesn't understand how to cut his losses. I'm sure you guys here understand that when men talk sometimes we get loud or rough with another but that doesn't me we're fighting we're just, "rough housing".

So anyway we usually end up competing in something (usually of his random choosing) and usually I win (not bragging), such as yugioh, bakugan, bey blade, and Pokemon (but not the cards just the games). I don't mind playing because #1: I don't have any friends right now, I haven't fixed my tinder, and all my coworkers are significantly older than me (they call me the baby😑). And #2 it's fun to whip out my old collection and use it every once in a while (especially my yugioh cards). But my mom and his mom (my sister) got mad at us for being, "loud" and my mom told me, " I'm a man, I need to act like one, and grow up"😑. Well first of all I'm not lazy I work and I can't help it if I don't have a car or my own house or any friends my age to do things with. So am I less of a man because I still enjoy things intended for children and spend time with my family?

So I can't help it, but I end up comparing myself with and competing with everyone I know... from friends, to family members, to co-workers, etc... and my girlfriend is no exception.

Me- I'm a very introverted person and rarely speak unless spoken to... and at first glance I don't seem like I have any defining traits. But if you can actually get me talking, then I become what people call "fun." I'm very down to earth and honest, and don't sugarcoat anything I say... and my opinion on things, I always say the truth, even if it's a really unpopular opinion. But even then, I never become super crazy or funny or outgoing or whatever. On my free time I usually watch shows/movies, read, play video games, write, and draw.

My girlfriend- Contrary to myself, she's actually really outgoing and pretty good at starting up conversations with people. She's also quite bubbly and cheerful, but also is very aware of when to take things more seriously. She's touchy feely, but won't give people hugs if she knows it makes them uncomfortable. She can also be quite funny at times, but not 24/7. She's very sympathetic, and is good at connecting with people. As for her free time, she also watches shows/movies, but she's a lot more athletic than me and loves to do things like play soccer, volleyball, basketball, track & field/cross-country, and swimming. She's fit and healthy with a flat-stomach, and pretty strong, but not super duper muscular or anything. She rarely wears make-up unless she falls and gets a bruise, but she does like to dress cute if the occasion calls for it.

Overall, I'd say if you like someone a little quieter who speaks their mind, you'd like me better. But if you like someone really affectionate who understands your feelings and who's really outgoing, you'd like my girlfriend better.
