I have suspected this for a while that we are just plain the dumber sex. I don't want to fabricate an elaborate explanation for it. All I've truly got is the thought that we are just dumb.

As a whole many of us keep falling for guys who string us along emotionally and dangle that carrot in front of our face. Even when we technically know he's fooling us, we are prone to taking that bait and munching down. I feel like we are often willing to take whatever is offered to us.

For instance I am in an emotional harem (i do not fornicate but maybe the other girls are or are willing to fuck him) with a guy and these other women at work. I was the first girl he took so i got to see him finesse the other two. I dont think he even tried hard especially with the last one. Some girls are easier though.

But anyway, this is a man who told me he used to have girls wanting him at the same time and insinuated that having mutiple wives is ok and normal. Clearly he would be into that.

Oh did i mention he has a girlfriend? She probably doesn't know about his harem but he told me that she knows he flirts and its ok because they trust each other. But this is the same man who wants to fuck me for almost a year now.

So I've been seeing this guy for a few months now and in the beginning there were some hiccups / scares that made him wanted to end things. We almost ended things a few times. We video called quite a few times for a couple hours which usually sometimes ended up sexual. He has never been in a proper relationship before and he told me he deals with anxiety and he can be an asshole/push people away. He has told me things like he thinks about doing cute shit together etc.

there's been some things that didn't add up.. for example he would call me his girl to others but won't say were a couple when i asked. When we would want to end things the other person would want to make it work. So the last time i said i wanted to end things and he didn't want to and make things work which was a month ago.

Everytime we see each other we always ended up doing something sexual and one time i didn't want to and he was trying to persuay me. He told me he likes me , would compliment me a lot and would want to see me. Even told some of his family about me and friend. He recently told a family members partner about me while he was a bit drunk.

Anyways recently we ended up going all the way and it didn't work out because we were in a car and he tried doing things but gave up easily.

He said it was embarrasing and dissapointed about it. One thing lead to another he ended things and been feeling like this at first 2 weeks then it became a month. He told me he doesn't see a future with me/doesn't feel as strongly as i do, and i wasn't his type. He told me all of this a few minutes after we attempted to go all the way.(before he even agreed to do it a few times before making a decision on what to do)

Prior to that i noticed his texting was off and wasn't saying goodmorning/night etc. When i asked if were good he told me we were. He said he was afraid to tell me because he didn't want to "break my heart"

My boyfriend was a few years ago (4 years ago) in a relationship with a girl for six years. They were on and off almost the whole time. Apparently great sex and he worshipped her. A lot of things he told me in the beginning that has stuck to my head still and I really wonder if I’m a second option after her since he’s bragged and spoken so extremely highly of her. She is very attractive so I don’t think he was over doing it either. I do think he really does find her extremely attractive perhaps much more than me.

There was a girl who wrote him once which he replied to mentioning me which is nice. I said he should block her. He said no I want to know if she’ll write me again. I took it as he wanted to keep the door open and I was upset about that for a long time. He said if I really think she’s something then we should all meet for coffee and I’ll know there’s nothing there. I was taken off by that and thought wow ok there must be nothing then since he’s so confident.

Another time speaking about the ex he was with for six years. I asked what he’d think if I wrote her, he got really pissed and said I’d never see him again if I did.

I find it weird such two different reactions. Would you say he’s protecting the ex and hopes to keep that door open just in case for another setback?
