I have suspected this for a while that we are just plain the dumber sex. I don't want to fabricate an elaborate explanation for it. All I've truly got is the thought that we are just dumb.

As a whole many of us keep falling for guys who string us along emotionally and dangle that carrot in front of our face. Even when we technically know he's fooling us, we are prone to taking that bait and munching down. I feel like we are often willing to take whatever is offered to us.

For instance I am in an emotional harem (i do not fornicate but maybe the other girls are or are willing to fuck him) with a guy and these other women at work. I was the first girl he took so i got to see him finesse the other two. I dont think he even tried hard especially with the last one. Some girls are easier though.

But anyway, this is a man who told me he used to have girls wanting him at the same time and insinuated that having mutiple wives is ok and normal. Clearly he would be into that.

Oh did i mention he has a girlfriend? She probably doesn't know about his harem but he told me that she knows he flirts and its ok because they trust each other. But this is the same man who wants to fuck me for almost a year now.

Nope. Speak for yourself hun, that has never been me. Whoever "we" is, I'm not in that group. Some *people* are dumb and naive, but this is not something inherent to women. But also, you can be intelligent and still be lied to. Some people are very good liars and manipulators and unfortunately some smart people have to experience that kind of betrayal to be able to see or suspect what's happening. Although, I do think there can be signs to pick up on.

I think the problem is how society conditions women to be desperate for love and doesn't teach young girls self-worth, self-esteem, to acknowledge and identify emotional abuse, etc.

You need to develop self esteem, self worth, confidence, and work on boundaries and standards for yourself. Get a therapist to help you start out and/or do research, look at some therapy/mental health instagram accounts for uplifting messages, look up YouTube content on these different areas, etc. Immerse yourself in learning about what healthy relationships with *yourself* and with men look like, and you'll be on a path to growth. It takes time, but if you don't start today, tomorrow will be that much farther away.

By "standards" I don't mean sexist "be a lady" standards. I mean standards in what you will accept, in how people treat you, in knowing what you want and choosing to follow that, keeping your options open to dating different guys so you can compare how they treat you and explore what you like, don't do things you don't want to do, and be brave enough to be alone that you will cut a mother fucker off a rapid speed if he's disrespectful, manipulative, dismissive of your thoughts/feelings, or simply isn't what or who you want.

Women aren't dumb. If anything, on average we are more intelligent. Women are raised in sexist societies that benefit from their lack of empowerment and self worth and men learn how to manipulate that. Loving yourself is the most important part of being this kind of woman. When you truly love yourself, any guy who isn't treating you well or giving you what you want is easily dismissed. But you have to be so strong that you are willing to be alone. A lot of people are desperate for someone so they will accept anything. A lot of men are also that way. My uncle's wife literally told him she wouldn't stop cheating on him and said she wanted half the money in his bank account. Despite our protests, he still sends her money and they still spend time together. Calling him dumb is too easy - it's a deeper emotional issue. A fear of being alone, self-worth kind of thing.

(Most) women can't separate sex from love - women tend to only want sex within a relationship, and getting the relationship is a woman's priority (sex by itself is rarely a priority, because women know they can get sex easily). The problem is that women - young women in particular, but plenty of older, experienced women who should know better - tend to project this priority on to men, and assume that a man's primary goal is a relationship too, and so they view all of his words and actions as if that's the case.

But men are very different creatures. As a rule, men can and DO separate sex from love, and while we want love, we NEED sex, and thus, sex is generally our priority. And we do NOT need love, or a relationship, to want or enjoy sex, nor do we need a perfect relationship partner before we want sex - we're perfectly happy to have sex with plenty of women we would never want to be in a relationship with for one reason or another.

The requirements for wanting sex from a girl are relatively low: we have to find her reasonably attractive, she has to be willing, (for most of us) she has to be single, and (for most of us) she can't be too crazy. But that's it - and that creates a big pool of women. The requirements for wanting a relationship with a girl are MUCH higher and much more complicated - which is why some guys avoid relationships entirely.

But this confusion leads women to confuse and conflate "sexual interest" with "relationship interest" when it comes to men, and they certainly don't seem to realize that they're about 20 times more likely to be a man's sexual interest (only!) than they are to be his relationship interest. The assumption should always be that the guy is just looking for sex, until there is evidence to the contrary.

And you know about the other girls. But it makes me laugh how few women even think about the other women. If a guy is willing to wait for you over a year it's probably because you're not the only woman lol.
