What are things you can easily dump a partner for vs if you're married with kids?

Every single relationship has their own issues. What are things you can and would easily dump them if you're just dating (girlfriend and boyfriend stage) and have no real obligations such as kids and sharing assets vs if married with kids?

For instance a girl doing a a fake pregnancy prank when she's just a girlfriend and no kids would already get dumped meanwhile a wife doing "I'm pregnant again" prank (they already have a child) will likely get a reprimand and told it's not funny at all.

There are a whole lot of deal-breakers in all kinds of relationships but typically when a child is involved, you tend to look beyond or forgive those actions for the sake of the child. You will then often, do your utmost, to work through the issues and feel the urge to compromise for the kids.

For me, in all my relationships, I wanted to make sure that the verbal communication was the highest priority in our relationship so that even if one felt I wasn't the one or lacked some certain traits, I would know, to either work on those aspects or for us to together find a solution. That being whether working it through or breaking up.

Reasons for breaking up in the past, was always due to not being compatible in all aspects of how one visioned or expected ones partner to be in a relationship. Sexual chemistry and being dishonest was the two biggest limitations in my book which together with other traits made it impossible to move forward. If their was kids involved and we lived together, I would probably undergone couples therapy to find a common ground we both could get past these traits and live harmoniously together.

However, the one thing that I take very serious about in any given relationship, is being cheated on. It's not so much of the physical connection one has with another human being but the lie one has had, for a longer period of time, in order to avoid "hurting me", is something I simply can't ignore. Whether or not kids are involved, I would have separated cause ones the trust is broken, it is hard for me to forgive and move on.

Being disrespectful or criticized and belittled by your partner , being compared to others by your partner , lack of intimacy and affection in the relationship , lack of trust in the relationship are pretty much reasons why couples break up , if you both aren’t on the same page with things , that can cause conflict in your relationship, One of the biggest relationship killers is Selfishness , if you can’t remove selfishness for your partner , they probably won’t remove it for you , it needs to go both ways for a relationship to last the long haul

Honestly, doesn’t matter. I’d say anything that brings kids into a bad relationship is worse that mutual split. Obviously divisive splits and divorce courts are hard on them. But still not worse than abusive parents who hate each other.

Your anger for your spouse will spill over to the kids somehow.
