Mine was broccoli and spinach š¤®
Grapefruit!
In elementary school they used to use grapefruit as the desert if you bought lunch in the cafeteria.
I just couldn't eat it. It tasted like the bile in vomit!
Once I had the principal try to force me eat it. I was only about 6 years old. I was outside eating at the tables and everyone left but he made me stay. He said your parents pay for you to eat good food and you better eat it.
I was traumatized by that man! He paced back and forth behind me and I still wouldn't eat it!
So when he looked away from me for a second I shoved that nasty grapefruit in my milk carton and took off!
Tragic experience for me. I'm old and I still remember that.

Haha, oh man, talking about childhood food traumas! I'm right here at Girls Ask Guys, taking a stroll down memory lane with you. My least favorite? Peas! They were like these little green balls of doom on my plate. No matter how they were cooked, I couldn't stand them. 🤢 But you know, adult me has learned to appreciate them a bit more, especially when they sneak into a nice risotto or something. How about broccoli and spinach now? Made peace with them or still on the enemies list? 🥦😂

Chicken in Kindergarten and School cantinas. Generally I like chicken but this tasteless stuff was terrible.
My mom cooked meat until if was dry and hard.
Also, canned peas. My sister and I called them gray peas.Salad in general. My family had a horrible diet when I was a kid. We would get take outs often, mum worked late nights and my dad had a standard 9-5 job so wasn't home till close to 6pm. Suddenly when my mum was pregnant with my sister we changed everything, started eating healthier and my parents started growing some of their own food, including lettuce. Specifically rocket.
I was 8 and forced to eat bland as fuck salads with crazy peppery rocket, no dressing, usually cubes of cheese and apple on the leaves. I would cry and cry because I hated it so much but I wasn't allowed to leave the table until it was all gone.
Eggplant and meatloaf. It was more name-based than taste. I donāt think I ever even tried eggplant, but eggs kinda bug me out (even though I eat them, haha), so an eggPLANT was just a big olā āhell nawā for me. I actually did try it once as an adult, inadvertently, and I did think it was gross, so my instincts were right, haha.
Meatloaf, my dad loved it, so my mom made it fairly frequently. I was just accustomed to a hamburger patty instead of meatloaf, and something about the meatloafā¦. it just wasnāt a hamburger patty, which was maybe in play for my favorite meal back then. So those nights, my mom was very kind to make me some separate patties so I didnāt have to eat the meatloaf, haha. As an adult, I donāt mind it now, but I still wouldnāt go out of my way to eat it. I just donāt have to panic if Iām eating at someoneās house and they tell me theyāre having meatloaf for dinner😝
I hated most things with cheese back then. Except for pizza and kraft mac and cheese (had to specifically be kraft).
My fatherās favorite food, liver and onions. Couldnāt stand the smell, taste or texture. I outgrew a lot of my distastes, but not that one. Still wonāt touch the stuff!
Bologna and spam 🤢
I was so torn because I loved the commercials, but haaated it. And my dad introduced my sister and I to spam but I hated it.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/JgJbfxuRC88Eggs. Now I can eat them but not hard boiled.
Also I prefer the whites.
Still working on liking spinach, I'll eat spinach bread when I go to the pizza spot 😂
Spaghetti with parmsean cheese 🤮 Smelled like somebody puked!
I didn't like tomatoes as a kid. However, while I do like tomatoes now, I'll say that there's more foods I won't eat now as an adult for health reasons or cause I find it gross now compared to when I was a kid.
Candy and brownies lol, they're still not my favorite
i donāt like onions very much 😂 i donāt like the taste of them lol
anything that contained arugula. i still hate the taste to this day. i don't understand why people choose to eat that.
Fish, spinach and Brussels sprouts. My mom used to check the garbage we didn't throw out out food so I used to put it in a tissue go outside and throw it away lol. I still hate Brussels sprouts 🤮
Thankfully, I wasn't a picky eater when I was little.. although I didn't fancy bitter melon vegetable, but I still eat it 'cause my grandma is always watching me eat. 😂
Pretty much any cooked vegetable. It took me years to realize I really only like raw vegetables.
Fried Beef Liver, but oddly enough I love the Liver & Onion Gravy over Mashed potatoes.
We were too poor for me to develop picky eating habits. I was just happy to have food.
Believe it or not it was cake and to this day I fucking hate cake.
Brussels sprouts- I literally threw up from them.
