Could staying poor protect me from gold diggers, or should I use LinkedIn?

I feel like God kept me poor so I will not attract gold diggers who marry me for the wrong reasons.

it is why I hate linked in, because if I am rich, I do not want others to know about it since they will be jealous, if I am poor, I do not want others to know about it, since they will judge me, and if I am fake, I do not want to post it because I will feel guilty.

It's just that an employer who interviewed me, told me she expects all her candidates to have a LinkedIn profile which is why I kept mine.

You're not poor. You go on foreign trips several times a year and half your diet is restaurant food and lobster. Poor people are working 2 jobs and wondering where the next meal is coming from.
