Why do men with no money worry about gold-diggers?

This is a fair question to ask but men with money are also worried and should be worried. They need to find a woman whose able to build a genuine connection with him and not someone who will make his life a absolute living hell. Yeah, some women are honest about what they’re looking for I can respect that but most gold diggers aren’t honest because they know that most men reject them.

A lot of gold diggers eventually settle for someone though whose just trying to make ends meet. If they realize their fantasy of living a lavish life comes crashing down they will take advantage of someone whose just paying the bills. Not all gold diggers get a rich man in the end some do but not all.

I will say men who don’t have a ton of money are better off when it comes to dating. It’s better to be with someone who genuinely wants you then wants your money. Because what happens if you’re injured at work and loose that job…. You want someone whose going to stay by your side.

First of all, gold diggers come in many shapes and sizes. They don't just target the super rich, they target whomever is available

Second, it's more like a debate on principle. Why do we worry about distant star systems? Because they exist and it is in human nature to categorise and understand things

Third, it's actually a certain mentality they associate with women, is what they worry about. Women are becoming increasingly unreasonable in their expectations. A lot of the current relationship "bare minimum" demands for many young women are flatout unsustainable for modern working class young men

Even if a man is not financially successful now, it does not mean he will be forever. Most men aim to be wealthy to have a higher standard of life and we want to know that the girl we choose is willing to be with us at our low. We want to know that girls are with us for our personality and not that we signal that we'll be making a lot of money down the road.

Why do men worry about gold-diggers? We don't want to become financially successful one day and just have a partner that leaves us or values us less if we suddenly don't make enough. We don't want materialistic partners that equate the gifts we get them to how much we love them.

Even men who do have money are worried about gold-diggers, and they are indeed a thing to be concerned about. A man wants to know a woman genuinely likes him for who he is, not what he has.

Firstly, i’ve never seen a guy with no money worrying about gold diggers because they don’t even think about having a girlfriend in the first place.. be it a gold digger or not…, he has other worries like getting food and shelter for himself first…

secondly, even if we assume a person with no money is worried about gold diggers, the possible reason could be that he feels that she’ll later leave him for a rich guy later and break his heart…. But again if she was a gold digger she wouldn’t date him in the first place…

Guy with no money knows he won’t get a girl in the first place even if she's not a gold digger… so I don’t think they worry about it

Who wants to be with a woman like that? After I started dating after my divorce, I didn't have much money. I was working 2 jobs just to get by. I dated a little. I had one woman that, no matter how late I made the date, she found a way to get a meal. Not something that was easily affordable. She never once offered to pay for anything. After 3 dates over a week or two, I told her I was moving on.

As to your replies specifying *literally* no money, there's almost no one in the developed world with $0.00 to their name. And of those few, I'm pretty sure they're generally more worried about not starving or being homeless than anything having to do with dating, in which case the premise is invalid.

What are you hoping to accomplish with this pointless question? Anyone is entitled to hate gold diggers because of the type of people they are. It’s not like “oh, I have X amount of money, NOW I’m entitled to hate gold diggings or “worry” about them. Life doesn’t work like that. Once you get out into the real world and gain some actual life experience, you’ll understand no one needs your approval to have an opinion.

There could be a lot of reasons, but whatever they are, I find it  hilarious . It does seem to me like the men who talk about "gold diggers" the most are men without any gold to dig. I'm guessing they're just upset at the idea that they don't have what these women want, but instead of feeling inadequate, they project those feelings of inadequacy in the form of outrage.

Men who have money are usually happy to share it with the right person. Men who don’t have money are paranoid about losing the crumbs they have. When you have a table full of food you don’t mind sharing a plateful but when all you have is a piece of old toast you worry someone will steal it and leave you hungry.

I disagree, men or guys who don't have money are usually the one's who may persuade a girl or woman with his charm and or looks where she takes care of him financially but she is love smitten by him that she keeps providing until she later realizes what is he doing to provide. I've seen it happen many times before and even read questions posted by girls and women on here with question titles such as "I pay for him but he doesn't buy things for me".

Just because she may seem awesome now, and he doesn't have a ton of resources at the moment, doesn't mean either of those things can't change. Besides, a man being "poor" doesn't mean he can't be taken advantages of in some way, including financially.
