Why do some guys brag about money if they hate gold diggers?

If a man wants a woman who likes him for more than just his money, why constantly bring up how much he makes, what he does and how much his things cost?

If he is bragging about what he have, isn't it safe to say that his finances is his best feature? If so, then why not accept women who just want him for what he has? I don't get it.

There's one thing to appreciate/respect a man for his efforts and successes and completely another to be hunting his wallet.

how does he get respect if that's like the only thing he talks about?! if a guy keeps talking about his wallet and how rich he is, what does he expect? let me get to know another side of you and see if there is more to you than your wallet that's all I'm saying

yeahh, the flip side could apply to how some girls act too. if you dress very provocatively, go overboard on flirting and just make everything about sex...thats what people are going to think of you. I know what you mean - same thing
