A Texas man is seeking a court order so he can depose a woman he was dating who traveled to Colorado to get an abortion...

Collin Davis, a resident of Brazos County, filed a legal petition in March stating that on February 20 — the day after he learned the woman intended to obtain the abortion — he retained an attorney, who sent the woman a letter requesting that she preserve all records related to her plans to terminate the pregnancy.

Davis argues that the deposition is necessary to determine whether there was a violation of the Texas wrongful-death statute, which the petition references alongside a Texas civil code that includes among those defined as individuals “an unborn child at every stage of gestation from fertilization until birth.” His petition additionally points to Texas’ civil enforcement six-week abortion ban, known as SB 8.

1) Shouldn't he have to first prove she had an abortion

Whether or not he has a right to have his partner in promiscuity arrested for murder is up to the state. Personally, as someone who is pro-life, I am indifferent to whether or not he wins or loses since he is guilty of putting that child to be at the mercy of a murder to begin with. If she is a murder, and I believe that she is, then he is an accessory to murder.

Firstly a law in Texas can't prevent a woman from getting an abortion in Colorado because it's an infringement of state's rights. Just ask the Supreme Court.

I don’t generally recommend women get into traditional relationships, but if they do, they should be in the role because they genuinely want to be in that role. I advise them to choose a man who is kind, cooperative, supportive, financially stable, service oriented, humble. And she needs to have at least 10k in the bank (in her name alone) and preferably her own vehicle and phone service in her name alone.
