so my guy glamorized about his ex.

Yeah he said he had an amazing relationship with her and they are still friends.

-He lied. They had only a sexual relationship, she used him as a tool for sex while she was out f***ing other guys.

-She treated him like he wasn't even there, didn't listen to him at all

-She used him for rides, money, sex etc

At first when he glamorized her I felt really "threatened" that I could never replace his memory of her. I got really mad and I wanted to break up and always said to him "yeah, she wins, she wins and I lost and her memory of her is better, I just want to leave now, lets break the f*** up, I"m sick of trying to be like her and trying to win you over"

but he says I have no one to compete with, I shouldn't be threatened. That he hates her. But then why did he say she and him had a perfect little relationship? Why did he say he and her did all this sexual stuff and it was so this and that... why did he rub it in my face that she was like this and that, and why did he want me to be like her? Because she wore his clothes all the time he wanted me to wear his clothes. Because she wanted the on top position all the time he wanted me to have that position all the time. Because they had sex with strawberries or in the car, he wanted me to do that too. He said it is like learning to ride a bicycle and once you learn it that way then that's how you ride it. WTF does that mean?

and then he said he was sorry he didn't marry her... WTF does that mean?

And she dumped him because she was cheating on him with multiple guys for about 9 months or so and he waited an waited and she didn't come back. She is now with someone new for the last 6 years... and he didn't date anyone until me... and what does all of that mean?

The real question is: Should I feel threatened that his memory of her is going to always be better than any with me? Should I just give up and stay with him but accept the fact that he will always love her and not me? But he says I love you a lot to me, but is it fake? I always ask him what does it mean and he doesn't explain it... What does it mean? sorry this is so long!

oh and by the way I never glamorize my exes... if they cheated and me, I tell right away, if they treated me bad I tell right away... the guy has no need to feel threatened or competition whatsoever with me...

I like it that way more... what do you think?

I posted a question several months ago about a ex friends stuff in my house. She and her husband cause several problems in our marriage as well as my husband's career. So bad, they've had to rotate her husband through different troops because he keeps causing problems. She WAS me best friend, and right after our husbands deployed she asked if I could keep a few boxes in my house for her when she moved back to PA during the deployment. Apparently her storage space she is renting is completely full. I said it was ok and I'd do it for free. Well, after what she did, I didn't find it appropriate to keep her stuff in our house anymore. We gave them several chances to come and get their stuff. Neither of them made arrangements to get their 3 small boxes of stuff. My husband finally, with many witnesses, told her husband that he had a week to get their stuff out, and after that we would get rid of it. The Master Sergeant himself, who is now back here on post for the remaining of the deployment due to severe foot surgery, has told me that he was there when my husband told him that, and would have our backs should they cause any more problems. Well this all happened back in August. I still have her sfuff, and the past month I've been trying to make arrangements to get an affidavit to legally get rid of their stuff. I know my husband said we were going to do it anyways, but I wanted to legally be covered. Every time I've gone to get the affidavit, something has come up. Either work needs me, or an emergency arises, or the legal office is too busy to fit me in. I've recently learned that it's not working out with her parents and she is moving back here to Fort Hood as soon as she gets base housing (which can be up to 3 months). We are part of the same website for Army wives, and she posted a bulletin that she is moving back (she didn't post for 4 months and suddenly out of nowhere posted.I think she wants me to know she's coming back without just telling me). Anyways, I could care less she's coming back. What my problem is, I'm afraid she is going to come back, and demand her stuff. I'll be legally covered should I finally get a affidavit, but I KNOW she will try and take me to court whether I have legal papers or not. And if I do, there will still be a legal hearing so I can prove I have them. I want to avoid any of that and any further involvement of her in our lives. So here's my question: should I NOT get rid of her stuff and give her a few weeks after she moves back to come and get it and THEN get the affidavit? Because they will then contact her to get her stuff and she will be here to get it. I see it as, if she shows up to get her stuff, I can be all "here, I was the bigger person for keeping it after all the shit you put us through. Now you have no more reason to be in our lives". Even after what she did, do you think I even owe her that? Or get the affidavit now, get rid of her stuff, and chance her making a huge deal out of it?
