I live alone. It is just me, Miss Kitty, and Miss Ana. One happy "family."

Of course, pets are not a substitute for female companionship but pets is what I have, and I have been closer to them, and they have been much closer to me, during this pandemic. Both of them get in my bed at night and Miss Ana sleeps next to my pillow. Miss Kitty usually follows me around the house and she even pokes her head into the shower when I am getting ready for work in the mornings. And they are waiting at the door for me when I come home in the evenings.

For the past 8 months or so, I've been much more... Let's say... Touchy feely I guess? Imma guy but recently I've had an extremely strong urge to... Like... Protect cute things, wich of course is normal but not to the magnitude I'm fealin' it... I think.

Jeez this is so cringey I'm sorry if yer readin' this.

For example; I have a cat, and ya know, cats are cute. But recently I've found myself harrasin' em a lot more recently, I don't mean beatin' him of course, but juz treatin' em like a baby ya know? Playin' with his paws, messin' with his ears, usin' em as a pillow; but like, obsessively. I'm talking like an hour a day, and naturally, he don't like me all too much anymore.

But about 4 months ago, it's been gettin' stronger!
It's now a very strong urge (especially at night) to hold something and make it feal loved and protected like a pillow or somethin'(I don't use my cat, he really don't like it). It's powerful enough that I feal anxious and quite loanly in bed and can't sleep. Even during the day I'm having a hard time focusing on meh studdies ya know? Now my sleepin' posture and school is all fricked cause of it. To be specific, I feal it mostly in my upper chest.

I would like to put a lot of emphasis on the fact that this ain't sexual or anythin', it's more a adoring/endearing fealin' ya know?

In conclusion, my back hurts, focus is bad, and my cat hates me cause I'm weird or somethin'. My questions are; is this normal? Is this wierd? How do I compensate for whatever this weird thing is? And does the location of this fealin' have significance?

I'm guessin' it's hormones or just straight up loanlyness, but I'm hopin' y'all got some sort'a insight on this eh?
