Im a decent looking guy and have good physique, all i pretty much do is gym and study (uni) and for that my social life lacks largely behind. This girl is an average looking girl but however with plenty of friends and a lively social life. my good friend is trying to set us up because he thinks we are well matched. and having meeting with her once and hearing about her from my friend i think so too. But i feel that this social status difference between us may just sway her too not be interested, even more so she acts likes she's not interested when i just be me (im guessing in her mind im just a loser). but at the same time i feel as if once i give her a little attention she gets all shy and feels good as i feed her insecurities.
I really want to try and give her a go at dating her but think that she's just doing it for the attention or simply not interested or wants me to chase her just because she thinks she better than me.
im having trouble with this because generally i dont like giving women authority over me like this but feel i might lose a potential good relo from my arrogance as i once did before in the past (in somewhat similar situation like this). Need a third-person point of view please
