i was once told by my one guy friend that if a girl prefers to listen to country music instead of all that top 40 chart/top 100 billboard pop - culture stuff, it's attractive? i have no idea if it is or not because I've never heard that before. is it attractive?

yes i do prefer to listen to country music over pop - culture because it's just a preference of mine and I'm not all about listening to the newest pop songs. that's how i got told this by him because awhile back we were driving somewhere and i had country music playing instead of that other stuff

Would you have a serious relationship with someone with different music preferences than you? Why or why not? Please elaborate if you chose answers C or E.
I'm wondering just because I personally connect a lot more with people who agree with me when it comes to music. I guess I would also love to be able to go to concerts with my future SO as well. Maybe that's just me though (I really love music if you haven't already picked up on that lol)

im 22, female. Id describe myself as a loner, introvert... as I have no friends or anyone anymore, and it has become my preference. I've become so sick of people. Everyone. I feel like an ass, as I mock people in my head, or carry a sarcastic inner monologue everywhere I go. I am super quiet and just observe people. I'm going to college, last year, and just watching my peers makes me so annoyed and I don't even wish I had friends if they're the kind of people I'd be with. I DO want people in my life, but I want like-minded people. It has gotten to the point where being around others has gotten almost unbearable. I can be ticked by the slightest things people do, or call people out on their behavior and psyches (in my head). People are so predictable. I am a psych grad too, so it's easy for me. I'm just so sick of people blindly accepting this life and just buzzing around like flies. I just don't get how they can be so caught up in such trivial shit, and yet with the big things in life they barely bat an eye (or even think about It in the first place). I'm mostly just disappointed and sad and angry. Even in my personal life, each attempt I make with others just causes me more issues or makes me hurt, and I'm just done. All I've grown to love is listen to music, read, and focus on the love for myself. It's like I've given up? I hate being this way but I just can't do it anymore, I can't be around others because my gears become so grinded I can't function as I wish to. Is this normal? What do I do?
