In my opinion, this Christian household is an anti-fat, anti-black, and anti-gay cult

My mom has a very narcissistic tone and attitude and my stepdad has very bigoted beliefs about gay people and thinks black people shouldn't speak up for their beliefs (though he isn't a blatant racist and certainly doesn't use the hard-er N-word... at least not when I'm around). Both parents are very Christian, very right-wing (though they claim to be "centrists" my butt!!!) and very hesitant to most truths. I might soon give up on my Christian beliefs as I move out in the next few years, but I'm still not sure whether I should attempt to leave religion. I know every Christian is different and that there are even different sections of Christianity. Most of my peers across an area of L. A. I live in are either Christian, Catholic, or Muslim.

I took a lot of influence from my stepdad in 2016 regarding his immigration stance and LGBT stance and started misbehaving and calling people names (sometimes racial and homophobic names) and got expelled once from school in 2017 for threatening to shoot and kill a teacher and all the students, called the teacher a n[censored]r, a f[censored]t and a b[censored]h

My stepdad who is strongly homophobic and mildly racist/classist, and my mom who is extremely ableist, problematic and insensitive. I am starting to hate my relatives more than ever, and both the Trump and now Biden presidencies have brought in strong divisiveness both in political and nonpolitical cases. People have started to become ruder, meaner, and more crass than ever. It really hurts me that people are like this. It has rarely ever been like this before the Trump era. I really hate people, especially insensitive people.

Just because your 2000-year-old Hebrew-written book barely says "respect your parents," it probably has been translated out of context. As with all the homophobic, transphobic, anti-Semitic, racist and sexist takes from the so-called "verses" the idiots and douchebags use. MANY of my relatives are like this, and MANY politicians I know are like this. I cannot stand Democrats, Republicans, or even most "independents" these days; I've turned myself back from these cults and their grifterism/asshole-ry.

My brother who is ten years old literally cannot get HIMSELF out of the bathroom. That's why he always calls his dad to try and get him out. But for the second time, he told him to ask our mom since he (my stepdad) was busy, and when he (my halfbrother) did that, Mom got really pissed off and said "don't even ask me, you're an adult, you're 10, go figure it out." I really hate it when people use others' ages as a result and solving of their problems, and sometimes my stepdad brings up the fact that I'm 21 when I am upset or angry.

My parents claim to be "centrist," but they're actually big business capitalist and far-right conservative frauds (by action, not just words) who like to make a mockery of people who aren't even the sense like them. Especially my stepdad. I unofficially left the Trump club a few months ago after seeing how cruel his supporters were, so I am a former Trump supporter (I was a Trumpie since the later end of high school).

My stepdad literally thinks black people (specifically my brother's black friend) are demons, black lives don't matter (he doesn't even support the 'all lives matter' movement), gay people deserve to rot in hell, takes the Bible far too literally. Knowing damn well there's crime and robbery and domestic violence in predominantly-white areas, he thinks predominantly-black areas are all filled with hoodlums and thugs. My brother casually says "n====r" and makes racist mockeries against Chinese people. My stepdad thinks women should be controlled by men (no joke), my mom isn't allowed to change ANY rules. My stepdad rarely expects to find any good in (his son, who is) my brother. He has no empathy for anyone that isn't as white or male as him.

My brother is soon to be 10 and I am already 21-1/2. To make matters worse, we're all Armenians.

My stepdad is a radical Christian and usually a very bigoted person. Even though he doesn't act the part, he sometimes can be racist as well. Not in the classical sense like the Nazis or the Klansmen, but he's still pretty racist. He doesn't believe people make mistakes and he is almost completely anti-science. He thinks our generation is easily triggered, but he is easily triggered by scientific facts such as "humans are (social) animals." He claims to be a centrist (read: he's a centrist in name only), when literally THE ONLY left-wing thing he agrees with is on vaccination, and even then he is abhorrently anti-Gavin Newsom. His personality reminds me a lot like Donald Trump's, but with the dementia of Joe Biden's (not that I support either "president;" they're both fascist clowns).

In addition, my mom is a closed-minded idiot. She is at least tolerant of racial and sexual minorities, akin to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Not as bad as my stepdad, nor a staunch conservative (in my opinion she's a right-leaning moderate libertarian and capitalist based on her talking points; moderately anti-Democrat though, rather than staunchly like my stepdad), but still a very bad person. She has a neo-Koch-brotherist personality, she literally said she doesn't want me getting a job (especially as a cashier, when literally THAT is the only type of job that is looking to hire me) and thinks that my cons outweigh my pros. In other words, my mom doesn't support me like she says she "does." She worries about my SSI, and she doesn't want me to be ahead of my 21-22yo peers (and slightly younger, 18-20yo friends).

Had it not been for my stepdad, I would never have written those stupid racist social media posts and made unsolicited sexual remarks to girls in my teens, nor would I even have said the N-word in the 9th grade. I hear that word with a hard 'er' occasionally coming out of my brother's mouth. My stepdad is more tolerant of the N-word than he is of "freaking!"

Riots, crime, and government over reach! Oh my! I thankfully live in a small town. Nobody really cares about you wearing a mask and they don't freak out over it. Nobody is really getting sick or dying here. We don't have stupid people marching through the streets or people destroying stuff because of fake rage justice. I'm Hispanic by the way, Apache, Mexican and Spanish mixed. Born in the US just like my parents, and their parents. So on and so on. So don't come at me with the whole "You white racist!" Bull. It just seems all the hate crimes, riots and racist stuff is happening only in big cities as well as heavy democrat ran states. Even though I'm sure I'll get a bunch of down votes because the majority of people who use any type of social website lean heavy to the left. Cause most people center and right are... you know. Working. Hurray for my vacation time! And not being some lazy Asshole sitting there and using unemployment to stay a useless piece of crap.
