So I got out of a long term relationship (which was my only long term relationship). While in my last relationship my ex and I were together all of the time. I did like some time to myself and with my friends and I had no problem with her doing the same.

My problem is this:

I think that because I was in this type of relationship it made me needy! I've been dating a new girl for about 4 months. She has friends unlike the last girl I dated. So she likes to go out with them and spend time with them alone. I know everyone needs their space but I'm finding the adjustment of being in my past relationship (which was everyday) to my new relationship (which is not nearly as often) a little difficult.

I definitely don't want to be a needy.

But I also don't want to make it look like I'm losing interest.

I know there is a happy medium somewhere.

Has anyone gone through a situation like this before?

How often do you see your significant other?

How often would you like to see them?

How often do you hang out with your friends?

Do you hangout with your friends alone or do you always invite your significant other to come along?
