I`ve posted here a few times about my overly flirtatious boyfriend. He was flirting around with his coworker telling his friend that she was going to get him in trouble with me, dat a** and blah blah blah, going to lunch with her (with and without other coworkers and genuinely just making her day while I was going through hell. He flirted around with other girls and it got pretty petty. I gave him several chances to just be truthful because I knew how he was. Quite honestly I wouldn`t have been pissed if he told me what kind of relationship he wanted to turn this into if he told me sooner and I let him know if he wanted to act a certain way with other women to just tell me so I could decide if I wanted to talk to other people as well because I`d rather not put all my eggs in a basket with a hole in it. Every time I got a feeling something wasn`t right he would just say she was a friend and she hugged him like she hugged everyone at most, a few months later he admitted things did get a little weird and she flirted with him and the girl asked him if he had a girlfriend which I know he gave her a dry yes through messages (which I`m sure was his first and last mention of me after she asked to see how far she could get because he acted so available) . A few more months later we decide to air things out and see if we could salvage anything, we were talking yesterday and why did this boy tell me he rubbed her feet because she said they hurt at work like he had to do it for her and she couldn`t go to a doctor if it was that bad knowing she liked him?

I`m still deciding if I want to try again or just keep him as company or whatever to pass time at this point so while I`m trying to respect him for telling me the truth even though he delayed it, I can`t figure out why he thought that it was ok to do something that intimate so casually (can I even call it casual?) while he`s with me, he hadn`t even been working there a whole year. Should I be objective about this or what?

We met in January in class. We were on separate teams at the time and had to get feedback from other teams, and we happened to sit next to him.

2 weeks later, we had to choose new partners for our 2nd game. He ran over to me, literally, when he saw someone else ask to be my partner. So we partnered up for the game.

We ended up working on the game for 3 weeks, nothing special, It was hard to get together since he lives on campus and I commute to college. The weekend before it was due I asked if I could stay the night to finish. He was totally into the idea and even gave me his bed to sleep in, he slept on the floor.

More instances:
He worries about me constantly, but only said it once under his breath.
He tries to teach me things he is into constantly. (Tennis, LoL, Magic, etc.)
He let me stay over for a week straight because of personal issues on my part.
When we were sitting with our friends he only asked me to go see a movie, not all of us.
He tries to hang out with me one on one most times, or if we hang out in a group he sits next to me or right across from me.
While we don't text a lot, when its been a few days and I text him, even if its just to say hi, he gets excited in his replies.
He actually stops playing LoL to answer my calls.(haha)
He gets irritated when I bring up other guys.
He has told me he prefers taller girls (I'm 5'10)

The reason why I am lost is, I am not good a reading signs, I am only good at giving them, and I cannot tell since I personally thinks he likes another girl, but it could just be in my head.

While he does act nice around them, I get a vibe he is nervous around me. The one thing we haven't done is break the touch barrier. We hug yes, and he has let me lay my head on his lap, but as far as casual touching, its not there like how he is with other girls.

He is very very sweet and that's why I'm worried I'm misreading his signals.

Is he just a friend? Or is there more?
