Alphas and Betas.


I know a lot of you don't agree with the terminology, alphas and betas, but forget that and look at the concepts behind it. Not the etymological term, were are talking about humans here, not wolves. That comparison is ridiculous because, as humans, our minds are so much more complex then that of an animal.


- Most alphas are not aware of the terminology that surrounds their status of mind. Alphas appear in every facet of life. Their lack of awareness does not make them any less of an alpha male.


- Alphas are alphas regardless of how they deal with women. If you removed women from the picture, alphas would still be alphas. Sorry ladies, you have nothing to do with whether he is an alpha male or not.


- Alpha are not always good. I saw a couple bullshit posts about alphas only treat women right or they defend the weak. Some of the most famous alphas in history raped and pillaged and killed thousands. That's not to say alpha's are inherently evil, just that our impressions of right and wrong do not affect them in the slightest, only their own.


- You cannot label yourself an alpha. Period. Others can label you an alpha, or a "real" man (depending on terminology you use) but their view of you is always relative and usually irrelevant. No one is truly alpha because humans are complex beings. Instead judge yourself on your actions. Your actions can either be those of an alpha or a beta. Most actions will fall in somewhere in-between


- Alphas and women. Women are the primary sexual filters of today's society. Ultimately they filter those worthy of intimacy, from those who aren't. If you are not aware of sexual strategies, I've prepared a short explanation below


In order for one genders sexual strategy to work, the other must sacrifice thier own. Men are designed to spread thier seed to as many fit (in the survival sense of the word) women as they can. The main reason for them to stick around is to ensure the survival off the offspring.


Women are designed to want to lock down the man of the highest value (for provisioning and genes) that their own value can afford them. However a man off high value will usually not stick around. To counter this they fulfill mens short term sexual strategy (short term mating) using their sexual agency as a reward, and then use the same sexual agency to try and lock down a man for security (read beta)
The primary difference between alphas and betas when it comes to women is alphas become the filters for intimacy. Women will often become intimate with alphas only to have them leave relatively quickly. The man is fulfilling his short term sexual strategy instead of the woman. Betas are often used for security with a woman's sexual agency as the reward. The woman is fulfilling her long term sexual strategy instead of the man.


Betas


A beta males best (and some times only) method of securing intimacy is by providing security. This is not necessarily a bad thing provided he is ok with abandoning his sexual strategy.


Alphas and marriage


I am not saying alphas never get married, quite the opposite in fact. They simply get married much later in life. The one significant difference between alphas and betas in marriage, is alphas control frame. She enters his world, not the other way around.


Sexual strategies and the human mind. I bet now you're wondering why men are getting married so easily and women having casual sex more frequently. This entire post so far has described survival mechanisms programmed into our brains from before civilization as we know it existed. Now we have rational thought. We can think, and we can reflect on those things. These mechanisms explain behaviors you see in everyday life, but they are not absolute. No every man doesn't just want to fuck and leave, and no every woman just doesn't want you for security or to raise an alphas child. The are just the base urges that effect what we do. They effect us subconsciously on everything we do in daily life. It is how you choose to act on these that make you who you are as a person. This article was made from a purely analytical standpoint, as morals tend to cause people to dilute the operative mechanisms as good or bad, instead of simply learning how they work and whats behind them.
