Sara is 16 years old and 5 months pregnant with a baby boy by a drug dealer named Shawn who's 19. During the first few weeks of her pregnancy Sara smoked weed and sold drugs. She stopped smoking weed but kept selling drugs. Shawn told Sara he wanted an abortion but Sara waited until it was too late to get one. Sara ditches class to help Shawn sell drugs, they get caught and both of them now have felony charges. Sara drops out of high school and gives birth to a baby boy named Marshall. Marshall was born three months early and has a low birth weight. He gets sick often and developmentally delayed. By 5 months Marshall would kick, scream and pull out his own hair. He didn't walk until he was two and a half years old and didn't talk till he was 4. Shawn overdosed on pills and died.

I really want to know how men and women feel about this. The decision was made by a male majority, which to me seems crazy because they are making decisions about women's bodies.

I absolutely believe that it is every person's right to choose not to use birth control, morning after pills, abortions, etc due to their religious beliefs - but those are THEIR beliefs and they should not be forced upon other people.

I am appalled that corporations have been designated as "people" who can have religious beliefs and yet the women who work for them, the actual human beings, get NO say in this whatsoever.

In the past, I worked for a Catholic school that did not provide certain things to women through their health care. I worked alongside some very lovely, devout Catholic women who were still upset by this. Some of them were upset because they needed birth control for health reasons. Others were upset because even though they personally were against it, they believed their coworkers (who were not all Catholic) should not be forced to follow such beliefs.
