So at the end of class today I asked my teacher a question. We'll soon learn about the Salem witch trials, but we didn't start yet. I was the last one there, so I randomly asked him why Salem is called Salem, because I know it's and Arabic name, and he looked really confused which embarrassed me and I was like 'the Salem witch trials' and he was like ahh and started talking about the history of the name Salem in the bible. Then I said is that why they use Salem as the name of the place, and he said he didn't know, it was just common at the time, he needs to do more research. I just feel embarrassed at his reaction, he seemed about confused / annoyed about what I was asking and I got the feeling he thought I was abit weird/ the question was abit weird. I really like him as a person which is maybe why I'm thinking so much, but I feel so embarrassed like I asked a stupid question and he thinks I'm stupid. By the end it felt abit awkward 😅😅😅😅Any good advice?😅 thanks!
