Search Results: getting back with someone who cheated

A couple of years ago my brother inlaw cheated on my sister and it really hurt my sister. She was planing on getting a devorce, but they did couples counciling at the church they go to and she changed her mind. She moved back in with him and made everything seem like how it was.

During that time I was really angry at him for what he did and some of the stuff that he said. Such as he wanted my sister to be a house wife and to have a girl on the side to have fun with. I still hate dealing with him whenever I have to see him and interact with him.

How he acts and just him as a person I just want to punch him in the face and tell him he does does not deserve to be with her because of how good of a person she is and to get off of his high horse.

I feel like my sister has been a lot more depressed ever since and our relationship has been drifting apart.

I like hanging out with her, but most of the time I have to interact with my brother inlaw.

I know this not my problem, but it hurts to see her with someone who will probably cheat on her again. Usually if someone says or does something to me I get over it quickly, but since it was her I can only sit back and feel like I can't intervene because it's her life. I feel like if I tell her how I feel about everything I could cause ruin our relationship.

At this point I just tollerate him when I see him and keep my mouth shut, but I have a deep seeded hatred for him still and I'm worried he will do it again and hurt her.
