'9/11 didn’t end on 9/11': attorney says his clients are still dying 20 years later

Michael Barasch’s law firm is just two blocks away from where the North Tower of the World Trade Center once stood. After the terrorist attacks on 9/11, he and his business partner decided to keep their practice in the same office in the financial district. Barasch says it’s a decision that he and his colleagues have paid a price for.

“In the last 15 years, my secretary Lyanna had died at age 47 of breast cancer. My paralegal Dennis, also at 47, died of kidney cancer. I'm a prostate cancer survivor. My other secretary Barbara has lymphoma. Two other people in my office have skin cancer. These are all considered related to the toxic dust,” he says.

The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has linked 68 cancers to the World Trade Center toxins; airborne particles that came from the 400 million tons of debris that spread for miles after the Twin Towers collapsed.

Just days after 9/11, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) assured the people of New York that the air around Ground Zero was safe to breathe. It turns out, it wasn’t.

“What did we do wrong?” asks Barasch. “All we did wrong was listen to the EPA. The fact is, they wanted to reopen Wall Street, and they did… We wanted to help the economy and get it going again, but we're paying a price.”

The Department of Justice reports that 4,500 people have died because of 9/11-related illnesses. That's more than the 2,977 people who were killed in the attacks.

I've seen videos of people dying countless times and I've reached the point where I've accepted death as inevitable a part of life. I don't even pretend to care when people die, I might go "i wish that didn't happen", which is rarely a lie, but that's as far as I'll go, often shrugging my shoulders otherwise. I also often look down on those who get emotional, such as in the Floyd video as weak pussies who need to grow a pair and accept that death is inevitable and tens of thousands of people die everyday.

Lets compare 1950's life and life now.

In 1950's , people married and stayed married , had 4 kids , only husband worked and he worked one job, she stayed home raising the kids and they were classified middle class. They did need a loan to put all 4 kids through college. If kids didn't go to college , he or she could get a job that paid well. The country had hardly no National Debt. The US produced the Worlds food and products. People acknowledged God and believed in God. US was still on Gold Standard. Coins still had silver in them. Very few kids were born out of wedlock and abortion was not an issue.

Today: People don't get married and 60% of kids are born out of wedlock. Gays now get married. Couples have 1/2 baby and usually don't stay together. Ending up in lower class poverty. People work 2 jobs each just to survive and still end up in more debt. Now college debt is at all time highs. The country is really $40 trillion in debt. The US produces hardly nothing. People deny God exists and don't care if they go to Hell. US is off Gold Standard and US plans to end use of coins and paper money.

Reasons why : Lets face it greed and personal gratification is destroying US. It is give me give me with no thought of the future or how your actions affect others. We have denounced God and are no longer a Christian Nation. The bible says the penalty of Sin is death and you see the US dying a little more every day. You wonder how a virus ends up in America , fires, droughts, hurricanes, tornadoes, and earthquakes? I don't. In life you get what you deserve. We are not even near as bad as it is going to get.

Over 99% of the current deaths are coming from the unvaccinated. It is not my duty to save their anti-science anti-vaccine asses; let them die off!!

The freaking vaccines have been here since last year, and you did not get your vaccine yet. I will not show any sympathy to you if you are dying from the virus because you freaking refused the vaccine!!

Society needs to stop being PC and sensitive and let Darwinism take over!!

Standard drop is where the person falls only a foot or less. They usually dont lose consciousness often dying an agonizing death.

Short drop is what they mostly used mostly in America in the old west where the criminal was dropped five or six feet usually and there was a chance that they would break their neck. But many would suffer from strangling.

The most recent method is long drop, where the person was weighed and a formula was used to determine length of drop to break their neck so they would not suffer needlessly.

Assuming that only convicted offenders of children would suffer this fate. How would you vote?

For about the longest time i did have a bad fear of death, but due to recent events in my life and such (lets just say i stared into an abyss and i came back), i find myself no longer really scared of it anymore.

So its like we all know death awaits us at some point in our life, but in my opinion its just not worth fear it, because when you really think about it we were never conscious for the billions of years before our birth so thinking of that makes me feel like death really won't be terrible.

Now dying on the other hand while i also don't quite fear it, i do understand it will suck badly usually. whatever dying illness i receive it won't be happy times for sure.

And this is not to say that when my time does come I will be in those final moments a little afraid, because truly we all are its just human nature to have that fight or flight response to it. but up until that moment, i just don't fear it anymore.

I also feel more fearless in general. not as much a coward these days. How about you guys?

Also if you still fear death ill just say i get you! its just a huge unknown. KNOW ONE knows what really truly happens other than our bodies decomposing. But just try to think it through logically. its not as scary as you might think. The dying part won't be great but death itself just isn't to me anymore.

Also if you believe in an afterlife i do respect your faith, but please be respectful of mine and others too.
