N95 masks help curtail the spread of the larger droplets of Covid, but don't do anything when it comes to blocking tiny aerosol vapors and particulates, which can also contain Covid. The N95 is a NIOSH/OSHA rating, not a medical rating. That means an N95 mask will block 95% of vapors and particulates larger than 0.3 microns per cubic centimeter. Covid can be airborne in vapor and particulates smaller than 0.3 microns. That means an N95 masks will block 0% of the vapors and particulates smaller than 0.3 microns. So wearing an N95 mask does help to a certain extent, but the messaging and information on N95 masks to the general public has been very vague. If we're going to wear masks, we all really should be wearing masks like this:

Because the PCR test is an unreliable test applied unevenly. They change the cycles all the time and constantly ran them to high. But for the vaccinated they run them at lower cycles. This means that in states with lower vaccination rates they have more false positives. I also don't rule out different cycles per state.

This was in the beginning when the demend far outstripped the supply. It was really hard to get vaccinated. So the state opened a vaccinated clinic in the inner city right smack dab in the black neighborhoods. They showed the clinic after it opened and I would say 90% of the people waiting in line were white.

The most likely explanation is that Trump voters were older on average than the rest of the population, the populations of rural areas are older on average than the rest of the population, and Covid is much more likely to be fatal to the elderly than any other groups. This is not political or about vaccine hesitance (which is highest among racial minorities that tend to vote Democrat), but almost certainly about age.

I agree that the history of government giving blacks vaccines isn’t the only reason (which is the reason IXK gave) but forcing vaccinations to be able to keep their jobs and to able to live normal lives as citizens definitely isn’t going to convince them that the government has their best interest in mind.
