People lie, right and left. You're looking not at a number comparing those immunized or not immunized against voter rolls, but asking two questions at random, what party do you affiliate with, and do you plan to get vaccinated.
Either way, it's a brain dead question. More people would die regardless. Let's say that 45% between both parties is only 30% of Americans (some people can't or don't vote, or not for either party), that's enough to fall short of the unknown number that we would need to reach for herd immunity, which to the best of my knowledge no country has reached yet to find that sweet spot.
It will simply mutate more and more and recircle the globe again and again. Which honestly is fine by me. The panic and blow to the economy were worse than the virus. Maybe sars-cov-3 will be more exciting though. I was in panic mode until there were more concrete numbers a few months in with cov-2.
You also have to figure that if a virus becomes too deadly it wipes itself out as the hosts for that virus die faster than they can transmit it, like ebola, some strains of flu or dysentery. I'm not too concerned as me and my family caught it already, and kind of figured on this sticking around like the flu.
No because yes, half a million dead is a "lie" based upon CDC data and admission which stated they where very, to quote dr. Birx, "very liberal with the definition of covid death. If we suspect the person had covid they are listed as having died from covid.". We know about a third of the deaths where not actually covid related, they where not factoring in comorbidities which both have now been factored in and dropped the number dramatically, in addition to all of this another third died specifically because Governor Whitmer and Governor Cuomo (and several other state governors) actively placed sick patients into nursing homes, the one population actually at risk from coronavirus (based upon CDC data) knowingly killing thousands of elderly people this way (hence the investigations).
Covid has a mortality rate of.3% based upon CDC data making it far less dangerous then most every other disease out their except for the very small demographic of people over the age of sixty, who are morbidly obese and have at least three preexisting conditions.
Further more if you truly believed in the vaccine then you wouldn't be trying to demand that we violate the personal autonomy of others because as long as you get it it won't affect you. This is about forced obedience to your ideology, not about keeping people safe (as the lockdowns and mask mandates have hurt far more people then the virus ever did).
I cannot quantify it, as I am not qualified. However, with new variations of covid, there is a good chance that there will be more deaths amongst unvaccinated people than those that have had it.
I am not from US, but it follows that if fewer Republicans have the jab, the more they are at risk. The higher the risk, the more deaths will happen.
Yes. Republicans are either dying or their brains are melting from severe mental Trumptardation. There will still be a Republican Party in the future but it will have nothing to do with Trump. He will be remembered as a clowny joke and people who survive the virus who voted for him will lie and say they didn't.

Probably not. Republicans generally are the richer class who have many protections that poorer people do not. This includes things from better housing with more personal space, and better health care. Whether the city or state is blue or red, the richer class has less crowding and better care. So whether the death is from covid only, or a combination of causes, the poorer class will have a higher incidence.
AS for factors like jobs, the owners of agricultural businesses are usually richer, while those who are hired to do the actual work are usually poorer, so the opinion on here that suggests farm workers are Republican is wrong. Same for construction workers. Our health care system is controlled by the rich and that is why they fare better. it is not political beliefs that decide who gets sick. Just follow the money.
The CDC literally just finally admitted that death reports solely due to covid are WAY exaggerated. Everybody who was saying this a year ago was actually right.
FALSE.
• There is no evidence the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention inflated the number of U. S. coronavirus deaths or violated federal law.
• Experts agree it is more likely the CDC is actually undercounting the coronavirus death toll.

And then you post a link to SNOPES, that is just laughable.
@johnsmithjs got a counter evidence?
Just admit it, you are a dumb ass and got duped by the fake media, LMAO.
@johnsmithjs wow you really knocked some sense into me! Thanks bro we totally needed you to do that!
@johnsmithjs "And then you post a link to SNOPES, that is just laughable."
Here's how it works in the reality based community. You believe sites that haven't lied to you over sites that have lied. The fact checking sites would go out of business very quickly if they made unverifiable or incorrect decisions (or if they didn't quote their sources).
In this particular case, I remember the claim from the gateway pundit, and looking at the CDC website in the internet archive, and seeing they hadn't significantly changed the page since they started talking about comorbidities, back in May 2020. From that, and the fact that "deaths from Flu" are obviously counted in exactly the same way as "deaths from covid", I am convinced that they're a bunch of liars (backed up by enough similar BS that I can safely ignore the whole site). Feel free to try to do something similar for Snopes, but show your working.
Like this: web.archive.org/.../index.htm
No, the number of COVID-19 cases has not been exaggerated 20x! ↗
For simple misdirection, from this headline on TGP: "Jim Jordan Slams Democrats And Unloads Questions At Dr. Fauci Over COVID-19 Origins". I'm willing to bet that the slams are baseless and that Fauci answered the questions accurately. Show me wrong, if you like.
@goaded You really need to educate yourself on so called fact checkers, no they won't go out of business when they are supporting the narrative that is desired. The fact checkers twist data to prove what they want to prove. You are just another person that is simple minded. Both the left and right fringes are idiots. Check out where fact checkers get their funding. Go ahead and believe the media you want as most people like you will never accept anything that goes against your simple minds. Now go pound sand!
@johnsmithjs George soros? uh ohhhhh
@johnsmithjs Take your fingers out of your ears, open your eyes and stop shouting lalalala!
The Gateway Pundit: "The CDC silently updated their numbers this week to show that only 6% of all coronavirus deaths were completely due to the coronavirus alone."
Text from May 13th: "Comorbidities
Table 4 shows the types of health conditions and contributing causes mentioned in conjunction with deaths involving coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). For 7% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.5 additional conditions or causes per death. The number of deaths with each condition or cause is shown for all deaths and by age groups."
@goaded I don't have my fingers in my ears, I will also not listen to any idiot that thinks Snopes, politifact or any of the other fact checkers are actually being honest. I will not listen to any idiot that thinks any American media outlet is being honest. Yes anything you say at this point will fall on deaf ears because you are quoted biased media sources. Just about any American media article you post I can tear apart and prove the author is a biased, piece of shit propagandist. I go directly to the source and looking at the CDC data and comparing it to past norms my conclusion is that all the hype about Covid was a bunch of BS. Anytime you give people monetary incentives to state cause of death was Covid then you have already messed up the real data. Maybe you are going to try and tell me Hospital administrators were not pressured to rake in the extra money by declaring something Covid related. If so then you are a fool. I can go on and on but I am tired of beating my head against the wall explaining to idiots on both side of the political spectrum on what is actually the truth. The left and right are both completely sucked into their own fantasy that they refuse to see what is in from of them. To end, as I am done you you people, Yes the "Gateway Pundit" spins their articles just like any other media outlet like fox, newmax, OAN, CNN, Washington Post, New York Times, ABC, NBC, AP (although not as bad), Vox, should I go on or do you get the picture. Now go pound sand and listen to whatever fucked up media outlet you desire.
@johnsmithjs ok go away then. what do you have to prove by not listening to anyone here? nothing. byeeeee
@Still-alive I just don't listen to idiots like you! You have nothing to offer accept your biased bullshit. You are nothing more then a empty shell waiting to be filled with the next talking point.
@johnsmithjs stop projecting. its embarrassing dude
@Still-alive LMAO
@johnsmithjs yeah i know you're pretty hilarious with the way you vomit up bullshit
@Still-alive still LMAO
@johnsmithjs So, we both went directly to the source, and you came out with the idea that covid-19 didn't kill all the people they say? So, what did all the other people who died before their time in last year die of?
www.cdc.gov/.../excess_deaths.htm
Number of excess deaths:
"Total predicted number of excess deaths since 2/1/2020 across the United States: 574,075 - 703,324"
@johnsmithjs - not just SNOPES. And there’s complaining about source quality from a dude that references Gateway Pundit
I don't see what this has to do with being a Democrat or a Republican! I don't think everything in life, including getting vaccinated, has to do with who someone voted for or where their political sympathies lie! I happen to be a conservative. And my wife and I got vaccinated, because it makes sense to be as safe as possible. That has NOTHING TO DO with politics!!!
The cesspools of disease are in big blue cities. Use your brain. Democrats have died in much larger numbers. Their cities are the centers for spread of disease. If they fix their problem, then the disease will gradually die back. Democrats are also more likely to take experiment vaccines and die from the adverse events. So over all, they will bear the brunt of the disease and the experimental medicine while more Republican areas are mildly affected.
That's just one of those things Democrats don't seem to understand and like to project unto Republicans. Different people live different lifestyles. Republican areas have lower density so there is a lower R0. As a result the spread of the disease is less severe. Often Republicans pick up the disease when they commute into Democrat cesspools to do work. If Democrats fix their problem, then it will naturally curb the problem in Republican areas being that Democrats are the epicenter of the problem to begin with. There is lower hospital load in Republican areas therefore better care and better outcomes. Many people who live in Republican areas often do hard work for a living (farming, mining, construction, etc.) and are in better physical shape with more exposure to the sun thus have higher levels of vitamin D and more robust immune systems. They are better equipped to first not catch covid and second survive it if they do get it. Democrats love to think everyone lives like them… They have a very sheltered view of the world. Democrat yokels do not understand the complexity of issues. They do the same thing with guns, taxes, policing, etc. They never understand the actual issue and think issues effect everyone the same way.
I just doubt those numbers are all that accurate.
American demographics are more complex than that too... Certain republican demographics will be more likely to get the vaccine or survive than some democrat demographics, it's misleading to be so absolutist.

It's complicated.
A photo of an inoculated man sitting next to two inoculated friends surrounded by more than six feet of space between anyone else? The point?
You must not have been following along during this covid crap. That pic was before anyone took the vaccine. And even after vaccines were given out, Fauci said we still had to social distance (6 feet apart)
I don't think these people were 6 feet apart, do you?
Probably not democrats are more likely to be obese and overweight. You're not at risk at all unless your very old or very fat.
Go to a gym I could guarantee you 99% of people their are conservative.
You know, that is not as big of a blow as you think it is. Its like saying "Go to the hospital and see that it is full of conservatives, ergo they are more healthy!". If you did not live an unhealthy lifestyle you would not need to go to the gym in the first place not to mention that is completely made up bullshit.
It's funny you think going to the gym makes you unhealthy.
Yes not working out and getting exercise makes you very unhealthy. It's like you don't understand basic health.
And then there in shape and continue going to keep it that way the majority people in a gym are actually in shape. Is very clear you don't understand very basic health your probably like 500 poundsBut think your healthy because you just are in a state of denial.
That makes so much sense now! Anti-maskers aren't IDIOTS, they're just extra healthy!!! Just like fat ass ex president.
You're proving you know nothing of health your not magically healthy sitting on your ass all day.
Look at the death rate if your not older fat it's less than the flu. Not at risk unless your very old or very fat those are facts.
No, covid is often much worse in democrat controlled areas. Regardless, even entertaining the idea that you hope people who disagree with you die of a virus to gain political power is unconscionable. So much for the party of love and tolerance
probably. i recall this town in iowa was decimated by covid and even on their death beds they still refused to beleive it was even real. kinda sad
or actually i think it was south dakota
Vaccines are our major weapon to conbat this virus. If the polls are correct and more republicans refuse to take vaccine and wear masks, they will be infected.
With a 99.98% survival rate even if you are infected it will not be a problem.
I don’t want anyone to die prematurely, but, if it happens, surely it is better if the stupid and the dangerous die, rather than the smart and helpful.
The doomers have been predicting massive death counts from the start. Remember the "mask it or casket" bullshit?
That would be because measures were taken to slow the spread. Had it been allowed to get totally out of hand, 4% would probably have been a low figure, because hospitals can only treat so many people at a time. What were you saying, this time last year? The same as Trump?
“But we’re going toward 50- or 60,000 people [dead]. That’s at the lower — as you know, the low number was supposed to be 100,000 people. We — we could end up at 50 to 60.”
@goaded No, that would be because the models were completely off base. Listen. You've had your fun this past year. But Covid is over. it's time for you to move back to obscurity. You were wrong on any point but it's useless for me to try to convince you otherwise.
You bought the line, made it part of your personality, and it'll be impossible to reprogram you.
Sweden even stopped using the PCR test because it's impossible to tell the difference between live virus that would infect someone, and remants of the virus destroyed by the immune system. The US and even Europe are opening up. The game's over.
Thank you mask mandate.
@BlacklightShade yes, it gave you a sense of belonging and a feeling that you were helping. It also gave you an enemy to combat. You suddenly got launched from obscurity into being a hero. You could wag your finger at those dirty anti-maskers killing grandmas. You could post your masked selfies on social media so all your followers could see how virtuous you were. Too bad it's all over for you, now.
So stop wearing your seatbelt. Stop vaccinating your children against MMR. In fact, why don't you stop washing yourself. Isn't that oppressive to you as well?
@BlacklightShade boy, you losing your Karen status really has you upset. You're one of the vaccinated still wearing masks, aren't you?
Are you referring to guidelines set by medical experts?
@BlacklightShade I'm asking you a question about your personal habits.
Yes. The vaccine helps keep us safe and not getting it is a big risk
That untested vaccine in which the manufacturers' have immunity for any and all hard they do will kill far more people then they save.
You know that I don't really care, I am fully vaccinated and I really don't think that anyone else should die from ignorance.
If the math is correct then yes. These are same people who think that the top 1% are using the vaccines to spy on people 😂
I do not ‘believe’ in anything. However, I do trust the principles of science. The fact that between my wife and myself we have seven MD’s in our immediate family.
99% of both Republicans and Democrats I know are getting the vaccine.
It's basically the flu.
The only people dieing from it are the ones who probably won't last four years anyway.
Fuck...
* dying
No, because Democratic states have had a worse death rate before the vaccine so the Republican deaths after the vaccine will balance things out.
Cite your sources. Oh, you can't?
Do you want me to post links to John's Hopskins? New York had the worst death rate in the world; if it was a country it would have been number one.
You are correct. My bad.
@Cody232 I said it was from John Hopskins University.
I don't even own a My Pillow
Why do you care? People like you should be thrilled like I am whenever a state restricts abortion even further.
Seems likely to me. Math.
Considering that most democrats are Brain-Dead, i would say NO
I voted D
Yes NOT taking the vaccine is a risk
No. Next question.
Are we hopeful?
I don’t think so
