I say "both" is the most logical choice because the good things (like hobbies and food and commodities and other forms of entertainment) will come to an end.

Conservative judge could block nationwide abortion pill access any day now, as Dems fight for even broader access

An upcoming ruling by a conservative judge could lead to a ban on medication abortion in the U. S., but advocates for abortion healthcare filed their own lawsuit Friday to expand access.

U. S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk, who was appointed by former President Donald Trump, is expected to rule on a lawsuit filed last year by anti-abortion organizations. The groups seek to force the Food and Drug Administration to withdraw its decades-old approval of mifepristone, one of the two medications used for the medical termination of pregnancies.

The lawsuit was filed by the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) — a prominent conservative legal advocacy organization designated as an extremist hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center due to its decades-long work against LGBTQ rights — on behalf of four organizations and four doctors who object to the FDA’s authorization.

“We ask the court to hold the FDA accountable for its reckless, unlawful behavior,” said Erik Baptist, a senior counsel with the ADF, an organization that was also involved in the Mississippi case that eventually led to the overturn of Roe v. Wade last year.

A ruling is expected any day now, and a decision in favor of the anti-abortion organizations could immediately block the sale of mifepristone.

But a group of Democratic attorneys general fought back Friday with a lawsuit of their own, seeking to make access to mifepristone easier.

Fox News star Tucker Carlson was thoroughly impressed on Wednesday night with how “good” Donald Trump is at ordering fast food, telling his viewers to “treat yourself” to footage of the ex-president deftly handling the cashier’s counter at a McDonald’s.

“Whatever you think of Donald Trump, when he’s unleashed in a crowd of people, he’s unbelievable,” Carlson fawned over the former president. “If you haven’t seen the tape of him ordering in McDonald’s in East Palestine, treat yourself.”

The primetime host added: “He wows everyone in the room. Again, you don’t have to love Trump to know he’s really good at this. And it’s real. He feels it. That’s why he’s so good at it.”

The Fox host pointed to Trump’s McDonald’s trip as further proof of the supposed popularity of the twice-impeached ex-president, claiming that this was just another reason why Trump finds himself under constant legal threat. “Partisan prosecutors at all levels—state and federal—are trying to prevent him from running for president again,” Carlson grumbled.

During his campaign-like trip this week to East Palestine, Ohio, Trump took a detour to his favorite burger joint and ordered a “nice array” of McDonald’s for residents of the town impacted by a catastrophic train derailment. “I know this menu better than you do. I probably know it better than anybody in here,” Trump quipped before placing his order.

Rep. George Santos takes heat for sponsoring bill to make killer AR-15 assault weapon America’s ‘national gun’

Rep. George Santos came under fire Thursday for co-sponsoring a law that would make the deadly AR-15 assault weapon the “national gun” of the U. S.

The Long Island Republican lawmaker is joining a right-wing push to lionize the killer weapon that has been used in the majority of recent mass shootings in American workplaces and schools.

Santos, who has mostly faced attacks for his serial lying, had already worn an assault weapon lapel pin to Congress to show opposition to gun control regulations like the proposed assault weapons ban that would keep AR-15′s off the street.

Now Santos has become one of three GOP co-sponsors of Alabama Rep. Barry Moore’s bill to give the dangerous weapon the unlikely title of the National Gun of the United States.

Gov. Hochul blasted Santos for ignoring the victims of mass shootings, like the racist attack on a Buffalo supermarket and the Uvalde school massacre.

“This bill, which attempts to glorify the weapons that have been part of such horrific tragedies, adds unforgivable insult to injury for those families,” Hochul said in a statement. “It should never become law, and Santos should immediately remove his name from it, if he has any respect for New Yorkers.”

Semi-automatic assault weapons like the AR-15 have been one of the main targets of gun control advocates because their main purpose is to unleash as many bullets as possible as quickly as possible.

There’s an old saying in politics: Never let a crisis go to waste.
It looks like former President Donald Trump heeded that advice during Wednesday’s visit to disaster-stricken East Palestine, Ohio, site of a 50-car derailment earlier this month.
Trump made the visit even though he no longer has the ability to declare the town a disaster area ― or any of the other things a president can do in the event of a tragedy.

So the former president brought the water, which was labeled “Trump Spring Water,” to East Palestine, along with some other bottled water he said was of “a much lesser quality.”

I am on the Autistic Spectrum, have mental health issues, and I am an incel. I have faced disadvantages and mistreatment due to these.

I am a slim majority that has never had a real girlfriend. I struggle immensely with depression.

You here all this hype about transgenderism and race and sexual orientation, but does anyone stop to think there are people with other disadvantages?

Just think about it a little. To me it feels like men are worse people when they display jealousy. I'm not saying jealousy isn't normal in men. I'm not saying men get jealous more often either because I really don't think that. I just feel like men hurt the world more when they're jealous. More people are definitely killed from men being jealous vs the other way around right? Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm mostly thinking about romantic jealousy but other types as well to me are more off putting from men. Not sure if it's because I'm attracted to women. I feel like many women would agree with me too but let's find out. I won't be offended by any response so please just be honest. Simply for my curiosity.
