I say "both" is the most logical choice because the good things (like hobbies and food and commodities and other forms of entertainment) will come to an end.
But so will the bad things (unfairness, double standards, troubles, etc.)

Trending & News More on the sad side. Imagine life if we had another 60 years of good health. The shift in priorities. The sudden notion that it is okay to stop, explore and figure out what you want.
The constant time pressure to do X or Y so we do not miss out and to not commit major mistakes - because if you fall behind life kicks back hard - is something that would almost disappear.
Life is eternal and every culture has a sense that there is more than this hell hole. I am awaiting the end with the intention of living blissfully eternally.
I was very happy and can live like that forever… till last year. When my body tells me…I’m getting old. So…enjoy whole young. The rest will take care of itself

Neither, because life isn't short- it's very, very long.
Name me one thing you'll ever do that's longer.
Bro I know what you're trying to say. But life is all we know. You can't compare it to anything else in terms of "time".
Time is relative just like everything else, but while we're here, the "relative" factor is in terms of your "status", not in terms of "time".
For example, if your status is miserable (or less happy) and full of troubles and/or with little to nothing to do, life will appear longer.
Likewise, if your status is happy (or less miserable) and full of interests and/or with things to do, life will appear shorter.
Make the choice.
But perception isn't reality- life may FEEL short, but that doesn't mean it IS.
I am happy that life is short, because life SUCKS!
It doesn’t feel short to me, but probably because I’m not living a happy life. Time only flies by when you don’t want it to, and the opposite seems just as true. 😕
It's just what it is.
