Was there a show/movie that your parents tried to forbid you from watching as a kid?

I used to watch MadTV every Saturday, for a few years, as a kid and one time, I was watching it in the living room and I guess my dad didn't like what he saw and he made me change the channel and told me I wasn't allowed to watch it. The thing is, I had a TV in my room, so I still watched it. I just didn't watch it in the living room anymore. 😂

Yeah the movie Seven with Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman. i really wanted to see it but my dad was like 'no its too violent' which was bogus because i grew up watching predator and aliens and all those slasher horror movies in the 80s sooo it was like 'wtf' lol.

anyway i saw it later and what a crazy movie lol

Nah. We never had TVs in our house to watch shows. The first time I turned on a TV, I was 12 years old.
