As I've said many times before on GAG, I'm not Republican, Conservative, or Right-leaning. I'm Independent/none of the major two choices. But Biden is a disaster, literally one of the worst US presidents in history with approval ratings reflecting that, and wasn't even rightfully elected as president.

This week, Donald Trump announced he was re-running for president. This coming after most Republicans were looking forward to seeing Florida governor Ron DeSantis run for president.

Frankly, speaking as an outsider, I think this is bad news for the conservatives out there. Instead of having one united entity to stand up against the lunacy and idiocy of the progressives and Biden administration (run by the World Economic Forum and Chinese Communist Party, most likely), they're going to have infighting among the Republicans, with one side for Trump and the other side for DeSantis, and that infighting's probably going to lead to another easy stolen election from Biden's masters.

Honestly, I think the only smart thing to do, would be to let Trump run as president, with DeSantis as VP. Merely, to keep the Republicans united. If they break into Civil War with Trump versus DeSantis clans, then expect four more years of Biden. And frankly, I don't the United States can survive that. Like, it literally won't remain a country if Biden and Kamala remain in power until 2028.

Like I said, I'm not on either side and frankly believe Democracy is long dead in America and that voting is now utterly pointless. But assuming it even mattered, I'd vote for Trump or DeSantis over the sh*tshow that is Biden and the deluded people still supporting them after all of this.

But who are you planning to vote for, for 2024?

Also, I frankly don't want to hear any far-left progressive screeching on this post. You can dislike these candidates, but any Progressive BS and name-calling and I'm removing your comment. You all know who you are.

I'll be completely honest, I HATE liars and lying, except about my sexual experience, but being honest has brought me nothing but trouble, because people either think I'm jealous or a loser. I have no respect for liars, but I see people who lie get much further in society.

So far the cost to USA alone is $91 Billion... which goes to the Military Industrial Complex... and lots of jobs. By the way, maybe you should be investing in these successful businesses that make weapons of war... or getting a job at one.

Anyways, that's a lot of money... like... you could have solved a lot of other problems with that $91 billion, and that's just in 9 months. So let's say, 10 billion a month on average.

General Mark Miley just spoke about how USA will continue supporting Ukraine with whatever it takes.

Problem is... there's 200k Russian troops being trained and deployed soon, probably within 2 months and the war will take another turn. e. g. There's no end in sight...

So... how far are you willing to go in funding the war... because you are paying for this out of the inflation in your dollars.

This is part of this cost is the inflation you experience now and in the future. You are paying for this war, just like the Iraq/Afghanistan/Vietnam war... via your standard of living.

Cost is only one factor, I get that... I don't need to hear about how terrible the war is and how it's Russias fault. Irrelevant.

He gave a very moving speech reminding Americans how much better America was just a short two years ago.

There was a new promotion being offered and everyone knew I was more than qualified to receive it. When it came time, I was brought in private and told I couldn’t be hired because the position had 80% white men and the other were females and males of different backgrounds so it was already too white.

It was much more complicated than this and it wasn’t directly told to me that the reason I didn’t get promoted was because I was white but it was implied and carefully said so I wouldn’t be able to sue. The person that got promoted was not as qualified as me and wasn’t even as hard working as me nor has he been with the company for as long as me. What are your opinions on this matter?
