Ok well, this is a little embarrassing for me but I have hair on my upper lip. It's super-blonde, meaning you can only see it in certain lights and angles, but other than that its not really noticeable, but when it is noticeable its embarrassing. I know if I shave it, it'll grow back darker and I really will have a mustache. I thought about waxing, but I'm scared it'll grow back the same like if I shaved it and it would look horrible. I'm not really sure what to do.can some one give me advice please?

You could try laser hair removal if you are interested. They have it at some salons. Look for ads in the newspaper or other advertisers or ask around. It shouldn't be all that expensive for an upper lip. Good luck! :)

You shouldn't shave or wax it, because then it will get darker. there is a lady at my work that does have a mustache and its black, so its really not good. If you have blonde hair on your upper lip, then just keep it how it is, unless you seem really uncomfortable, then go ahead and shave, but you will have to do it all the time.

Growing up, my sis had a small mustache as a kid, she didn't understand, so she took band aids, put them on her upper lip, and tried to take the hair off. Of course, it didn't come off, and my mom had to buy boxes of new band aids. (not saying you should try the band aids method) it was just funny. Just do what you feel is most comfortable.

I use an at home waxing thing to get rid of the little bit of hair I have there, and it does not come back stubbly at all. It looks nothing like when you shave. It just kind of appears back where it was after a while :P obviously it doesn't come back exactly like that, but that's what it seems like because its not noticeable that its growing back at all.

Question Asker Did it grow back darker? How long have you been doing it and what do you use? - 4 months ago
Answerer I've only used it twice, and no I don't think it made it grow back darker.. but I'm not sure if it will if I do it longer.. I just use a Surgi Care brand one from Ulta - 4 months ago
