@Light_beam The only part of any of that you got right that makes any sense is my kids didn't know what he was up to because none of them were around each other very often. He only slept over here when my kids were away with my mom or dad or mother-in-law. He occasionally would come do things with all of us, never just me. My kids were never jealous because it was extremely obvious they came first and my boyfriend knew they came first and he was fine with it too. As I suspected, you just made some random assumptions and they were all wrong. You getting jealous of your dad doesn't mean it happens to everyone.

I made a couple really unexpected friends in college so far, cultures where the headscarf is a cultural or maybe religious expression. I would have thought it was impossible for them, too, but they kind of initiated the friendship because they liked my fashion sense and personality I guess. I come from kind of a backwards Christian family, so it was a blessing to learn I needed to put that aside. Anyways, I was surprised with how they think about clothes. Like they would never publicly wear a bustier or a lacy bra or thong and so on, except they would hide it under other clothes. I was when we were alone in their place or mine. Lucky boyfriends! I'm not pushing back or debating - just seems like some cultures can seem so conservative but the girls are just as wild in their dress when there is no penalty to it.

Well I think it's great that they can live their life like that want, or feel safe enough to rebel in private. From my experience the girls I know are wearing headscarves because of how they were raised, or maybe the feeling of how they will be seen by people they know on campus. Or they know word will get back to their family back home. But they don't see it as oppression They know know all the fashion brands, and especially the lingerie and so on, better than me even. And my two closest friends wear thongs and sexy bras and so on under their clothes, even to class or when they give presentations. Anyways being college girls, they have the same kind of wild impulses we all get. I'm not talking about their morality. I learned from them how to respect that they feel like a complete woman. It's not for others to see so much, except for friends who can accept it or maybe their boyfriends or girls they like. But it's going to be pretty secretive like with strongly Christian girls. We became friends over the fashion and just personalities that fit despite all the surface culture differences. So with three of them, we did our own little private fashion shows and some shopping together. My closest friend like this even bought me some things to wear just for her -- not like for my boyfriend or other guys I'm with or even for her other girlfriends to see, but our little secret, and that led to us doing some things together. I'm only saying it cause it's anonymous here. Nobody needs to know but us, and it's very special.
