The survivors in this country, would be returned to the medieval times and live closed off from the elite (who will hoard all the technology, only sharing it with the religious high ups and their families), and live in a theocracy, using only products from the companies of the ceos. Some would actually want to get rid of the religious fundies once the job is done, and have us worship them as gods instead.
