To elaborate - like shared interests would be you already have the same interests. So you meet them and they like the same activities like sports or art or interests in movies and music.

Someone who has interests you’ve never explored, but you’re both wanting to do them together. They pick up on your interests and you pick up on theirs.

like if I meet a guy and I am not already interested in things he loves (like sports or knowledge of movies or books etc) would that make someone lose interest or do these things not matter?

assuming guys are the big spoons and girls are the little spoons-

if yes : guys - where do you normally place both of your hands?
: girls - where would you want your man to place his hands on you?

if no : why?

People say things like height and weight don't matter but I personally think it's BS. Many women won't date men who aren't at least 6 feet tall (I find it silly but whatever) and many men have a certain weight "stop" for their women.

I'm honestly just curious what do other women think and how they feel about this.

I'm 5'2 and I cannot imagine this difference, dating someone so much taller than me. Kissing, sex, hell even walking next to each other seems problematic :D Doesn't mean I wouldn't give it a try.

My guy and I only text when we’re done with our days (at night) and sometimes a little bit in the middle of the day when we both have free time. He said he doesn’t want to come off as being ignorant but I honestly enjoy the amount of texting we have going on. How often do you guys talk with your girl? What is the ideal amount of texting for you?

I’ve been seeing a guy for some time and the energy was great in the beginning- he was really into spending time with me. However, the last few weeks have been kinda rough. He’s about to go into another year of school and completely supports himself (working for rent, food, and tuition money).

He works odd jobs (one of them, for example, delivery for a local florist) and visited his best friend across the country for a couple weeks, which kept him from working for a little while. I could feel communication changing between us so I brought it up the last time we saw each other, which was when he got back. He told me that he was going to start to catch up on working because of the time he missed, especially with rent/tuition coming up, so he’d probably be distant for a while.

We didn’t speak for two weeks and I understand his situation but I was still bothered. So I reached out and he apologized and said that he’s had quite a few things on his plate. I also remembered that he told me a while ago about a serious personal matter that’s actually coming up in the next few weeks, so I know he is juggling some stuff.

Part of me (due to insecurities from past relationships) is kinda afraid of all of this being an excuse to ghost me. I always hear people say “if they wanted to they would” etc but I am sympathetic to being in stressful situations. I have really bad anxiety and at times, I shut out everyone and retreat. I also know that guys at times have the tendency to do the same.

I guess I’m asking, does it seem like he’s retreating because of dealing with what’s going on in his life, or could it be some ghosting bs “being busy”?

I don't really care for skin color/hair color/eye color, but if I HAD to choose, I'd say Melanistic, as some Black girls are pretty close to that color, though not AS dark. Plus, Melanistic has no disadvantages, while Albino can be almost blind and get very easily sunburned.

I don’t know a lot of people and haven’t seen a lot of people standing next to eachother knowing their heights to determine if 5’11” is tall or not for a man.
of course standing next to a really short person it can seem tall but is it tall?

if you say average say if it’s average but on the taller side or average on the shorter side?
