Guys, Is 5’11” tall for a guy?

I don’t know a lot of people and haven’t seen a lot of people standing next to eachother knowing their heights to determine if 5’11” is tall or not for a man.
of course standing next to a really short person it can seem tall but is it tall?

if you say average say if it’s average but on the taller side or average on the shorter side?

In the area I grew up in I was the tall side of average at 6'

Where I am now (South Africa) I'm finding a lot of guys taller than me

I think it depends where you are. In mining towns a lot of the population tend towards being shorter. In farming communities around me here they tend to be taller. In Europe, oddly, they were shorter.

In the USA at slightly less than 1 young adult male in 4 is 5'-11" or taller. Therefore, it is considered above but not substantially above the average height of an adult male.

I think you have to be a part of the 6" club in order to be considered tall, I'm 6'3.

My girlfriend is 6' and when we first met I was 5'10 now I'm 5'11 and I'll be passing her soon, and I'm not really considered short in any way, she's just a bit tall

Where I am in the UK it’s average, however overall, it’s above average.

Where I was living West Midlands, the average is likely 5’6, they are short dark haired lot.

I think average male height in the use is 5-10. So pretty average.
Tall is over six feet, short is under 5-8.

Actually doing the conversion from metric it is just above 5'11". And it is the Netherlands.
