Women shown in picture could've got a lot better looking partner but they made a choice like this. So do they regret it later

Don't tell me bullshit like women don't go for looks they go for personality. I agree personality matters too but I both genders need some level of physical attraction to even fall for his/her personality.

So my doubt is just for the sake showing their open-mindedness to the outside world deep inside do these type of women regret later.

There has been something weighing on my shoulders for a very long time.

I am 28, white, from the US, and I never had a real girlfriend. I am not the best looking guy in the world, probably average at best, and I am very short at 5 feet 6 inches. I am usually the shortest guy in the room by a big margin.

I have had a lot of setbacks and shortcomings over the years. I never really went to college that long, but I have companies interested in me wanting to offer me a 6 figure salary. I am a software engineer. Self taught.

As I said, I never had a real girlfriend. Most high school kids have more experience with relationships and intimacy than me. I haven't so much touched a woman in almost 8 years.

I am seeking a woman where we can be each other's first real relationship. I seek a woman that has never had a boyfriend or first love. That is a deal breaker.

Some people here say that I only like Asian women because they remind me of my ex-wife. However, I was ridiculously attracted to her when I met her 21 years ago before I even knew she was my type. Now long after her and dating a woman of my own race (White), I still feel intense things when I see Asian women.

I believe that I'm naturally attracted to Asian women, but the deep connection I had with my ex made it even more powerful.

Not acting on it of course. But like think her student is really attractive and sweet.

Like ‘oh she could do better because she’s super pretty and he’s okay looking.’ And vice versa

There are women that are vocal about only wanting tall men. So let's settle this dispute here. Show the men of GAG what really matters with your choice and answers.

say you meet a very good looking guy or girl, the general stereotype is that they're probably very popular and outgoing with an instagram of 1k+ followers posting pictures almost daily etc.

But when they don't have instagram, it would seem that people are generally taken aback by it and even find it weird. Would this be a scenario you would prefer, or see yourself dating, or would you prefer them to not be active on instagram?

There is a stereotype that men are more visual and usually have their minds made up with 30 seconds of meeting a woman if they are interested or not.

To a certain extent that’s true. If a girl is a 5 or below to me physically I am not going to be romantically interested no matter what her personality is. That doesn’t mean I won’t treat her respectfully and be friendly (if she’s got a cool personality). I won’t be rude if she happens to show me interest (will politely decline if need be) But I can’t develop feelings.

But I am thinking that many women are more superficial than ever nowadays when it comes to looks (except if they guy is rich and/or famous)

That’s not to say they shouldn’t have standards. I don’t expect a beautiful 22 yr old woman to not reject a chubby balding 35 yr old guy. But I notice that the less attractive a man is to a woman the more difficult, challenging and bitchy she will be to him.

I know this because I’m my 20s most women considered me a 8 to 9 physically. I’ve gotten older and while I am in great shape for my age the truth is most women see me around a 7 now. They are more difficult and rude in dating situations. They ghost more. I am held to a higher standard on my behavior on the first date.

I don’t expect everything to be willy nilly easy like it was when I was 25. But the fact that: “first impression (looks) = likeability = respect” is depressing.
