I don't think I have any problem with it in spite of a preference for keeping very short hair (especially by women's standards). Sometimes I really think many women look better with longer hair than below shoulder-length. I wonder why that is. Maybe just social conditioning? But I'm more into a connection or, if physical, a healthy-looking body than anything else.

Also while I never grow my hair this long, I actually like at least shoulder-length level or shorter hair length for women even if that's still longer than mine. Maybe I am biased by my athletic background but for me, it seems so impractical to have hair much longer than that if we are fighting or playing the roughest contact sports. It seems like a vulnerability to have hair so long that our opponents can easily grab it.

... and I do not want a woman I love to be vulnerable this way because the last thing I want is for her to get hurt. So I like her hair shorter at least than going way beyond shoulder length.

Guys with long hair, like past shoulders is a turn off for me (for some reason it makes me gag). And my hair is already pretty long, if it's longer than mine, I would throw up. Except for some reason it doesn't bother me on Native Americans or Sikhs.
