Post height and be BRUTALLY honest. I'm 5'8 and i couldn't date anyone more then an inch shorter then me, and i say an inch mainly because i wouldn't notice. My best relationship was with guys my exact height but i find that shorter guys feel like boys to me and i feel so bad for it, i just don't feel protected by someone shorter then me.

Ideally the guy must be taller in case he tends to be in a dominant sex position while having the drive. Tall guys can lift girls up and down... and what not !! It is ideal for girls as well in order to have a satisfying sex regime. I'm 5'7.5 my ex was 1/2-1 inch shorter, the rest were 5'8. Oh! actually I dated a guy who was 6'1 I think (it was nice while it lasted) So at this point I'd prefer to date someone 6'0+ but I'd deal if he was my height or shorter. The only reason is because I always feel humongous and cramped up it'd be nice to look up for once and not have to be in uncomfortable positions while cuddling or sitting together.

I can kinda relate because i'm 5'8 and that's kind of tall for a girl. I can tell guys are attracted to me but as it was mentioned guys think you're out of their league, "and I very rarely get approached by anyone taller than I am" you even subconsciously admitted your standards that you want someone taller then you. Not saying i'm as tall as you but for me, i got good at flirting because being 5'8 i find that i have to let a shorter guy i'm interested in him via flirting because most guys do think i'm out of their league, but once a guy knows you're at least interested his confident and charisma comes back.

However short guys (not talking about guys shorter then you) are boned in life. They can't give you that feeling of being protected and "dominated" and they're the punching bag society and they always come off as boys. Short girls even avoid them.
