Just wondering how common this is to come up with a girl you’ve been seeing because as someone who has very little experience with dating and has never been in a relationship, I would never bring it up and I’ve always dreaded a girl bringing that up because she’ll probably get turned off by the fact that I’m so inexperienced at an older age.

It's been said time and time again that it's not easy for most men to approach and flirt with a woman in public, and that even the most attractive confident men only have a 30 to 40% chance, at best, to impress a woman.

A 30 to 40% success rate still means rejection the majority of the time, and unlike in the pre-2000s, women nowadays tend to be a lot meaner and less empathetic about this than they used to (sorry, but it's true; a lot of y'all aren't nice).

Women also tend to not understand why only the most attractive, most ballsy 5% of men out there only hit on them, despite how many women will shout at, harass, curse out, or otherwise be viciously mean/rude to normal, decent men attempting to just get to know them better. (Not men being aggressive, rude, or not taking 'no' for an answer; just regular decent dudes.)

As a girl, are you the type to empathize with and understand just how hard it is for a guy (especially a not-handsome, not-fit, not-tall guy) to muster up the courage to ask a complete stranger to get to know him better and begin a potential relationship with him?

... Or are you the type of woman who will reject a guy loudly and rudely, because he was too short/ugly, wasted your time, or "couldn't see the tiny little wedding ring on your finger while you're holding your purse or phone" or something?

It used to take me a bit to get over but now it pretty much is like a light switch as soon as i get rejected im over them.

From my observations this is more possible for women but for men I dunno.

I am really struggling right now because I could date a woman I really love (as a person) and deeply respect. She’s honest, smart and hard working. She definitely likes me. She’s also a in her late 20s which is an ideal dating range for me

But I just feel little physical attraction towards her and it’s for reasons that are out of her control (facial features). Makes me feel like crap with self-frustration.

I hate judging people on things they have zero control over. Different story if it was a solvable problem i. e. she was obese.

I am waiting to find a woman without a romantic past that has never had her first love. I am almost 28 and never had a real girlfriend.

I haven't touched a girl in over 7 years since my 2-day weekend fling with a 16 year old girl when I was 20. I feel if I start having lots of sex, then I will be less desirable for a woman without a romantic past and a hypocrite.

This guy asked a girl out, she declined nicely and he dismembered her. He was also a creepy stalker POS, which is rare.

I don't and what I've noticed over the years is that there's a possibility some of the girls i shot my shot with may have not actually rejected to me and maybe they were playing hard to get as once I get signs that they're not into me, I remove myself from the situation and don't talk to them again.

I make my intentions clear and I don't play games, I literally spell it out in plain English that I want us to be boyfriend and girlfriend. This no-nonsense approach has gotten me rejected almost every time but it's also worked exactly twice, with my first girlfriend and my current girlfriend who I've been with for 2 years now.

I view playing games such as dominating the girl, playing hard to get, showing off and stuff as pointless and immature which is why I don't engage in it. I'm also not an interesting person at all despite my turbulent assertive personality but my life as a bad kid allows me to compensate for my boring personality with funny stories from back then.
