My lesbian peers have been pressuring me for a while now, absolutely insisting that I wear longer shorts that "at least fully cover my kneecaps or longer because shorts above the knee are just too feminine for a lesbian woman."

And like... just wow. I never thought I'd see the day where my shorts were considered "too short." I've been wearing shorts this length my whole life, and they were always considered "very long women's shorts." Among-st my straight female peers they still are, actually. However, among-st my lesbian peers they are definitely noticeably shorter, as their shorts all go below their knees while mine go above.

Hello, what type of jeans do you like on women? Skinny or straight/mom?

What do you like more when women are dressed? Sweater or hoodie?

Me and other fellas from the local Muay Thai (and boxing) gym/club are having a Christmas party on 27th. I have some idea of the outfit and the hairstyle but I am unsure whether I should really spice up the nails?

I have somewhat medium length, decent natural nails (I am not a fan of the fake acrylic ones) and rarely paint them.

I don't want to look too out of place. I want to look nice yeah but I don't want to look like a pin up doll around people who are dressed casually or slightly more formal (shirts, pants etc.).

Please vote and/or comment what else do you recommend?

I think I'm going to wear my best fitted light blue jeans with a grey henley (it really suits me), maybe add a smudge of raspberry lipstick shade, medium hoop earrings and decent eye makeup and that's it. I want bouncy girls for the night.

Men in my area used to always wear shorts that were well below the knee, with the absolute shortest acceptable length being knee-length. It was kind of an unspoken rule for men to never let shorts go above their knees.

One day though, starting in around 2020 or so, men in my area began suddenly wearing shorts that were well above the knees and showed some thigh. It was a seemingly overnight change. I thought it would be a trend that went away quickly, but it stuck... and not gonna lie, I REALLY don't like it.

Like obviously other people can wear what they want, but I absolutely HATE how it looks. I don't quite know how to describe why, but it makes men look so... naked? It just looks too revealing. I just don't think men's thighs are a feature that need to be shown off. It's like the male equivalent of women wearing butt cheek shorts.

Like the 3 guys in the above photo, I think they would look IMMENSELY better if their shorts at least went to their knees or slightly below. They just kind of look like they're in their boxers, I guess?

That's not the main issue though. You can't even find the longer men's shorts anymore. My male friends told me this when I asked them about the length of men's shorts these days, and I checked the men's section and could confirm. You just couldn't find anything longer than a 9 inch inseam.

And yeah... I'm just really not liking this trend. If I had a boyfriend I'll make sure he never wears shorts that go above his knees... he'll be allowed to wear knee-length or below the knee shorts only! Lol okay no, not really, he can wear whatever he wants, but I'll just verbalize to him that I REALLY don't like it. I don't necessarily want him to change his fashion choices just to please me, but hopefully I incentivize him to at least TRY longer shorts, and/or buy at least a couple.

TL;DR- I'm just absolutely NOT a fan. I don't know, men's thighs are just not particularly attractive to me.
