Should I stop trimming my brows?

Sorry for the mess. Whenever someone feels like they need to make a comment on my looks, it is almost always about my brows. Some tell me that they look a bit too groomed, while others keep telling me they are just fine. I don't know what I should do😅😅.

I’m not an expert but I wouldn’t have noticed an issue if you haven’t pointed it out. But zooming in on my massive iPad your brows look too manicured.

What I tell my stylists on set: Goal is to make it look not manicured. Hair, skin tone, makeup. Make it look as natural as possible.

acting when he was young. I thought you were like him. Some sort of an actor or smt.😅😅

No. I was in a commercial once in East Jesus knowhere Texas. I have produced commercials tho. No voice acting. My voice is terrible.

I went for "halt"! I'm really not into this metrosexual trend. Think eyebrow grooming should be limited to just removing the hairs in the middle. You do you though! But personally I'm not a fan of such fastidious grooming in men.

I just don't like it when people act as if they looked like that.

Oh yeah, that's way too extreme! I'm from Japan and some Japanese men these days are wearing make-up (they are heterosexual). To me that's too much.

I think that is pretty much cultural. It is socially accepted for men to wear make-up in East Asian countries since you guys are tend to be more tolerant when it comes to what people want to do with their bodies.

I think there's some degree of androgyny which has become popular as well, like more tomboyish girls and prettier boys. Like when I was growing up, it was this type of image of a man that was popular, like tall and a bit rugged:

The thing is that 90's are coming back in Europe as it is shown in new trends🤣🤣

That sounds fun! I liked the 90s. I always sort of liked the gender-bending style of glam rock and glam metal in the 80s.



I think that was very influential in Japan especially for manga/anime with some gender-bending male cartoon characters. But they could fight. I liked this one (Shiryu) from Saint Seiya with the Dragon armor:

yeah, you're right, but I have been grooming my brows since I was 14 and I vividly remember the times I thought I looked good when I literally had sharpie brows🤣🤣🤣. Looking at the pictures now, I am asking myself why I did it.

Trimming is a good idea, I need to do the same…just don’t make them look too groomed or manicured. Go for a trimmed but natural look…best for guys, but just my opinion
