Polls: Girl's Behavior

Been texting with a girl past few days, with responses ranging from taking a day to half a day for both of us.

After my last text, she replied back a day later saying she thought she replied and then goes on with a few messages worth of replies to the last message.

It all seems natural to me, except that how is it possible to "think that you replied", since she clearly thought the messages important since she checked again?

Do you ladies sometimes to this to guys you are interested in?

Was talking to this girl for quite some time now, everythings been perfect, minor arguments here and there but it's all good

she said to me today "im not in the right state of mind to date"

i outright asked her "do you mean it? or do you just not wanna date me?" and she said she meant it

so what does she mean by it and what do i do? i suppose she does have some interest still since she didn't reject me right there?

To sum it up:

Me and this girl had a CLEAR AS DAY "thing" going on between me and her. She really liked me and i really liked her

A couple misunderstandings which lead to an argument made her mad at me, now she's just like "We're just friends right now" whenever i make a strong flirty comment

Should I ask her what she means? or is this answer obvious and someone can tell me? thank you

A new girl has recently started at the Café two doors down from where I work. We go there for teas/coffees etc about 4-5 times a day. She has been there two days and the first time I went in she grinned at me and I smiled back. I gave her the order and she grinned at me again, she looked up from making the drinks 2 or 3 times looked into my eyes and grinned again. She only holds eye contact for a second but literally Every time she looked at me she has made a point of smiling without exception. She has initiated two or three short conversations asking about my work/the weather etc.
I haven't seen her doing this to any other guys and she hasn't done it to my boss he says she never smiles. Is she just being nice or could she be interested?
The thing is I am an average looking guy, nothing special etc and she is a gorgeous young woman surely she could have her pick of men why me?

What happens if a girl acts awkward around you but seems normal around other guys?
she's nice and will approach me sometimes, but usually im the one being more confident in starting convos. She will get more comfortable around me after a little talking, but the next day she gets weird and takes a while to get back to yesterday. Sometimes she gets really awkward around me, but then seems so much better at talking with everyone else. Whats goin on here? Haha thanks in advance
