The ring fits fine. And it looks really good but not too fancy. She always wear earrings, so I don't think she doesn't or is not used to jewlery. She wore it a lot already. But lately she doesn't wear it as much as she used to.

No... it doesn't mean that... my BF proposed to me and gave me a pre-engagement ring... until he can afford a better one... I used to wear it more at the start... but then sort of felt dumb wearing it for certain reasons... people kept asking if I was engaged... and technically yes, I am... but it doesn't seem official because we didn't set a date and because none of my family members know about this... and my parents have never even met him (that's another story)... he told his whole immediate family the day he gave me the ring over dinner and told them we were engaged... but I don't think anyone took it seriously... we had only been going out for about 6 months at that point... two years later and I don't wear the ring all the time because I can't wear it in front of my parents... so that's the reason for me... I'm sure she has a good reason and it isn't cause she isn't interested.

Yeah I understand you want her to wear the ring but that are tons of things that she can show her feelings for you. Trust me ring has the last place on this list. This doesn't mean anything.

The deal between me and her is: When we were student I asked her out (a few years ago). She said she would but "can't". I took it as rejection. Then she found out I got a talent and probably wasn't all that bad. So, she hinted that she would like me. But this time I neglected her to show her that I moved on (although I didn't). Now we are workin together. I needed help and she's such a great person. She doesn't have hard feelings for me at all. Although I treated her badly she was willing to help me. Now I like her even more than I used to.

Since you have a history together, I think this is more reasonable. Still, you gotta wait. She has to decide on her own, without any pressure. Because you know imagine you will have future together, and if it doesn't work, she will blame you. People tend not to take any responsibilities in those conditions. So your part is being patient. Did you talk to her and she knows what is going on with you? If yes, then step back and wait. You will see.

Honestly, if someone gave me a promise ring or a "pre-engagement" ring, I wouldn't think much of it. It's not a proposal. It's a promise to make a promise to commit to her. As in, it's not a big deal and there's a huge chance feelings could change.
