Well, since my favorite play of all time is Cyrano De Bergerac by Edmund Rostand, I think I'd have to say yes. I am not saying it's prudent, but since we are discussing falling in love, prudence and rational thought has usually been left far behind at that point. : )
People used to write letters to maintain and build relationship, so I think it's entirely possible to develop feelings through the written word and hearing someone's heart and mind honestly expressed. In fact, in the olden days, guys had to ask permission to write a girl. Then, they expressed themselves to one another mind to mind, building relationship and connection, hanging on every word and reading and re-reading those letters.
Again, not saying it's prudent. But possible? Yes.
My friend had a german shepherd named Cyrano from that play. When people love it, they love it.
@dustybiker2 That's awesome. What a perfect name for a dog, LOL!
Thanks for the MHO!
That really depends on the kind of person you are. For me personally a certain person's opinion may peek my interest and I might decide that a person is interesting for me based on the opinions he or she gives but before it gets to falling in love with a person a million lightyears need to pass for me. I'm quite a logical and pragmatic person and I don't easily become prey to emotions so I will always have to get to know a person first before developing feelings. A person can give great opinions or answers but behind closed doors he could be an absolute pshyco for all I know.
Thank you!!
Diving headfirst into the sea of love without even seeing the water first? Absolutely! Falling in love with someone's mind, their perspectives, and the way they express their opinions online is a real thing. It's all about that mental and emotional connection, which can be so powerful and enchanting. But remember, while you might be swooning over their digital persona, it's crucial to eventually verify those feelings in the real world. Sometimes, the person behind the screen is even more amazing, and sometimes, well, let's just say expectations can set you up for a surprise. So, yes, falling in love online? Totally possible. Just make sure to wear your heart on your sleeve carefully; it's precious cargo, after all! 😉
I really wish GaG would remove AI. We come for organic content. Not this shit.

I think it’s possible to be attracted to someone’s mind, but not love. If all you’re doing is reading their opinions, that’s not love. Love takes time and effort and a conscious desire on both parts to build, if it’s only on your side it’s not love, it’s attraction.
Depends if the responses are genuine. People who put a lot of thought into even short dry liners making witty connections can gain attention. Fall in love is asking a bit much though. For that all the dots and t's need to be dealt with and that's not possible online.
LOVE would be hard. SERIOUS LIKE… sure, though don’t expect reciprocity.
No, I think there would at least need to be one on one conversation for that to happen
No but hearing g somebody's responses can get your attention and who knows what can happen after that
I think to call it “love” is a little unrealistic. You might be in limerence over their opinions, not love.
If they're bullshitting you
Like trump
He says things people "want to hear", which is why they fall for him
In reality, he's a big old sack of shit, who doesn't know his way out of a paper bag
Not for a rational adult with their full faculties.
Lmao guilty once upon a time 😭
I wouldn't say love bt definitely crush
From just that? No, that isn't love.
Love no. Infatuation yes.
Perhaps but probably not for real
Probably not it seems too impersonal
Online is not real.
Your comment isn't real then?
