Please, I need a help.
This guy told me that he loves me and that it's hard. I really didn't know what's the right thing to say other than respecting, acknowledging and telling him that I really appreciate his feelings towards me and that I am really sorry.
We've been chatting for over a month and we admitted to each other that we like one another. We stayed friends even if we came from different continents, with different races and living different lives, and we are not dating or whatsoever. We just talk every single day for several hours and we are really having fun spending time to chat.
The thing is, we have never even met in personal (it's completely impossible) or even in a video chat (I told him that I don't want to and he respected it). He doesn't know how I look like and doesn't know how my voice sounds like because I am a very private person and I am being cautious. I ain't interested in online dating too. He only have one pic of me as a kid and a pic of my mother long ago that I sent him. The opposite, all of his FB pics are public and even if I never asked for pics, he sents me his most recent pic of him sometimes and I give him compliments, of course.
Now, he just recently admitted that he loves me and I am so confused. Is it really possible to fall in love with someone you have never met? With someone you barely know? Is it possible to fall in love with someone you didn't even intend to date? And on the Internet (FB to be exact)?
Damn, he's so nice to me and he's an honest person. I like him so much and I care about him but I know that what I am feeling towards him is not love. Heck. I just can't believe this.
I don't know what to do now. We're becoming awkward. I don't wanna lose a friend like him.
