Girls, how you ever regretted letting the nice guy slip away?

I'm not talking about the nerdy guy who follows you around, or the guy who is there for your ever whim of wants, but the guy who is a genuine nice guy. Though you never take heed to him, and just let him slip away?

I ask this, because a recent female friend of mine told me that she regretted not ever giving me a chance. That because I was a very sweet, and nice guy, but even though I was highly attracted to her back in the day. I hadn't been extremely agreesive and cocky guy as many women seem to go after these days.

So my question to you ladies. Is that do you ever regret letting the nice ones slip away for the guys who treat you wrong, or have a Jock personality?

I haven't regretted it, cause i didn't feel strongly enough for the guy. There are a lot of nice guys out there, but I'm either not physically attracted to them or there is no chemistry. The other thing about it is that I'm a nice person, like genuinely nice to everyone i meet. But i don't view my niceness as a key criterion for dating me... Like, i don't think my niceness is what makes me attractive to the opposite gender. No guy has ever said, you were just so nice so i had to ask you out, you know.
I guess i just think, human beings should be nice. It should be a standard feature. And the things that make someone attractive to you, or that make you want to date another person, should be chemistry, common interests, sexual attraction etc..
I hope that made sense, i don't really know exactly what i'm trying to say.

I under the jyst what what you're trying to say. Basically, you're saying that someone being nice should be a basic. However, we both know that it's not true, and a lot of guys are considered assholes. However, I agree that it's not the only good trait to which you should look at for when liking someone, or having feels for them.

Yeah exactly, it's generally not their nice factor that makes you notice a person. In regards to those jerks, yeah they're out there unfortunately... And it's the same with girls too. But i guess for me, I'm not really attracted to those overly confident ones, they tend to look at girls as things rather than people... which is a huge turn off. But some girls like to be trophy's or they don't know any better so...

Yes I have but I know that the reason I wasn't attracted to a man who was sweet and loving was because I wasn't feeling good about myself - we attract people who are a reflection of how we feel about ourselves. When I started really loving myself, I had no time for the assholes and was able to accept a kind man who truly loved me.

Yes, I have regretted it in a way. However, I then realized I am just not attracted to him in a romantic way and it wouldn't have worked out the way he had wanted it to.

I don't think so... why will they regret when they themselves are aware of being attracted to cocky ones?

Because girls are attracted to the "dangerous, or bad guy" for when they're younger, and therefore change when they get older. Look at the comments from the girls. It looks as if I may have been correct in my original thinking.
