Several men and even young boys still put themselves right in front of danger. There was an article on youtube about a 6 year-old boy saving his younger sister from a dog but it cost him multiple facial surgeries... so young and already making a decision like that. They could've ran the other way in fear and save themselves but usually don't do that. Sadly, sometimes they get badly injured or die in the process.

I'm alive because of my 1st boyfriend pushing me out of the way (placing himself directly in danger) of a drunk driver long ago. We were just 19 at the time. Sadly he died after saying blurting out the last words ''I love you''. He was so young with his whole life ahead.

By placing themselves in danger, they are choosing the other person's life and safety over their own. Is that naturally innate, taught or both?

At the start of the year, me and my now former boyfriend moved in together
We moved into my parent's apartment
Then our relationship started going downhill
Lots of arguments etc

We broke up a month ago
I packed my things and left
And removed my name from lease

We haven't contacted each other ever since
So been a month now..

Then suddenly he emailed the real estate he will be delaying his rent payment this week due to changing jobs

But he sent that email to me as well

Why would he send that email to me?
I have nothing to do with the rent anymore
Its between him and the real estate

So why?

Okay! I've known this dude for a year now but it wasn't until half a year ago we got close. Since we got close, he has always poked me at random occasions and he lets me borrow his pocket knives that are his distractions when he's bored. Also, he always places me in stations close to him (because he's a manager BUT NOT OLD). At times when I'm next to him he leans his head on my shoulder and puts his body weight against mine. When he leaves he always gives me tight hugs, just recently when we worked he gave me a hug AND lifted me up as he did that. On Snapchat I'm his #1 bestfriend but there's a catch.. He has a girlfriend. And by the way, they live together. But what I know of her, she is very controlling and has always been overzeleaous, accused him of being gay for texting guys weird BUT this dude is 100% straight, you can see it clearly. I've just always been confused about if he even feels a thing. I've gotten him pins for his uniform, he wears them at the front center where everyone can see. Recently, I've also gotten him his first matching pin with me it has a tiny heart and I told him clearly that it would match mine and asked if he's okay with it, his response.. "Well let me see yours to see which one I like more." I'm MIXED on this situation.

So my roommate. I moved in about 3 weeks ago. He’s extremely attractive, funny, smart. I have a little crush. I definitely need to get to know him more. We talk a lot and he asks me for advice on certain things. We talk about what we think a relationship should look like etc.. He always asks me for help if anything goes wrong in the apartment and we have other roommates so why not ask them? They’ve been here longer.. I guess I’m just bad at reading guys. I think he flirts? We watch shows together and only us, no one else seems to join in. But again I may be reading too much into it. One thing I do notice is he makes eye contact all the time. Is that a thing guys do when they’re interested? Do I just keep going like nothings there or do I say something..

So there's this guy i text with, he texted me first and mostly does. But, he disappears in mid conversation. He was also gone for 2 months. But he just always comes back. And it hurts so much when he disappears. I get depressed, crying all day and stuff.
So me and my friends, came up with two conclusions.
1. He knows that i like him. And he thought, 'oh! This girl likes me! Must make her fall in love!' and is using the toxic technique. Just for fun
2. He just does whatever he feels like not regarding what i will feel.
Ps: i asked him why he disappears and he said, 'sometimes i just don't feel like to be on social media'
But he's online forever.
So... Isn't this just another way of saying, 'sometimes i just don't feel like to talk to you'?
So for the first one, I've been thinking this forever. But, when he talks to me, i just brush the thought off. Because, he's so nice, so clean and everything!
Also, i would've known if he was actually doing that right? While talking, i would've known something!
So i think It's rather the second one
And i also want advice on what i should do
