Guys, if you go out of your way to help a woman and she thanks you in a text what is the "true" meaning behind "no problem" if you would?

I understand the general concept - I had no issues doing this for you. But I guess I am asking do you respond "no problem" versus a more formal "you're welcome" with a woman you are interested in, see as a friend or just as an associate.

No problem - directed at woman interested in

No problem - directed at woman you see as a friend

No problem - directed at woman you see as an associate (not even a friend)

I would caution women not to go by this, because it can be very misleading.

It really depends on the guy and if he's interested in a woman, he's giving WAY more signs than this. This is splitting hairs, lol!

Some men will help regardless and respond this way, so this is a bad indicator.

Some men won't help because they know a woman likes him and he's not interested and is cognizant of actions like this being taken out of context (this question is proof)

Some men won't go out of their way unless they like THAT specific woman.

By itself, this isn't a solid indicator.

I say no problem to both women I am interested in and not interested in.

Just recently I went out of my way to help a girl I am interested in and said "no probs". She thanked me for it and gave me a hearts emoticon. There was nothing after that, because I don't make a move on a person unless she shows interest too.

Men cannot afford to look desperate too you know.

It's usually just something you say when your more relaxed around the person. You would probably say You're Welcome in mabye a professional setting. If your just hanging out with a friend you'd say no problem.

It would be a common response I would use regardless of whether I liked the girl romantically or even if she is just a colleague or associate.

I would say that to anyone I did a favor for; no romantic element one way or the other.
