We weren't dating long but I broke up with him because I'm always the 1 initiating contact (I had to admit my feelings 1st, I had to initiate the kiss, I have to initiate the conversations & I had to say I love you 1st.) When I told him I'm done, I walked away & he let me but later on we were hanging out with mutual friends & I was bringing up my ex's nicknames & he said that I meant piece of shit. That's how I feel about him but I didn't say it. I later asked "How did you know that's how I felt?" He said "I could just tell especially with what you said earlier." I asked "Am I wrong?" He said "I still don't know what I did wrong." I told him & he said he didn't want to step over a line or cross boundaries because he knows I'm agender & aromatic. He asked why I like him & I told him but when I asked him the same question he said "Because you think my jokes are funny. Your actions & you give me attention no 1 else does." It sounds to me like he only likes me because of how I make him feel & not because of me but important side note: he is insecure. Like he knows he's clever but he thinks he's ugly amongst other negative stuff.
